Legal Assistant

This position will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters as well as contract review processes, while preparing documents requested around the globe.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to the legal team by drafting and reviewing standard documents, terms and conditions, and contracts and providing support on day-to-day issues, e.g. review of clients' legal claims, confidentiality agreements, and insertion orders.
• Assist the compliance team with the configuration and implementation of a compliance management system and with the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
• Coordinate certain legal processes, e.g. notarization of corporate documents, application for and maintenance of business licenses in different jurisdictions, and completion of certain questionnaires from authorities or suppliers (KYC);
• Support data protection activities in accordance with international legislation under the direction of the team;
• Support the legal team with the implementation and configuration of a contract and company management tool:
• Assist with organization or training for internal stakeholders
• Be responsible for the migration of contracts and corporate documentation to the contract management tool and update the tool as needed;
• Ensuring that electronic and paper document files are kept up to date, scanning documents when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent in English and German; other languages are a plus.
• Ideal You have previous work experience in a law firm or in an in-house legal department.
• Must be interested in and enjoy legal administrative tasks.
• You have excellent organizational skills and are keen to understand business and corporate relationships with very good team player skills and strong communication skills.
• You work in a detail-oriented and structured way and have a process-oriented approach to perform the tasks.
