For our Marketfield Engineering Team, we are looking for an motivated, communicative und open-minded Marketfield Engineer Profile Wrapping (m/w/d) at our Sika Site in Hamburg.

Job Description

• Responsible for the adoption and implementation of new technical applications in co-operation with marketing and R&D
• Technical analysis of customer and market needs, initiating application tests, and developing new products based on the Product Concept Phase (PCP)
• Providing technical advice and support independently for selected key accounts, consultants, and other stakeholders in relation to application and products within the window profile wrapping business
• Identification of corresponding and competitive gaps, niches, and opportunities from a technical perspective
• Responsible for managing the profile wrapping equipment and conducting operational tests on the device in collaboration with our customers
• Provide solutions within the industrial application area including overseeing project meetings, delivering training, extending application support and contributing to sales activities
• Develop data sets from self-conducted tests, process values on the related equipment, and innovate solutions for existing and new applications
  
  

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, completion of professional education in a related industry, or equivalent professional experience involving the application of adhesives
• Experience encompassing mechanics, adhesive technology, and lamination applications, complemented by a robust understanding of these processes to enhance sales strategies
• Interest or experience in marketing or product management
• A creative wellspring of inspiration, adept at envisioning possibilities, coupled with natural communication skills and a confident, assertive approach
• Approaches challenges with an analytical, conceptual mindset, focusing on finding solutions and acting accordingly
• Fluent German and English skills
