🎄 Gemeinsam Gutes tun: Spende für den Hospiz Verein Vilsbiburg Bei unserem bulthaup-Weihnachtsmarkt für Mitarbeiter wurde nicht nur gefeiert, sondern auch für den guten Zweck gesammelt. Durch den Verkauf von selbstgebackenen Plätzchen und Losen kam eine beeindruckende Summe zusammen, die unser Geschäftsführer, Marc O. Eckert, großzügig verdoppelt hat. Insgesamt konnten wir deshalb 2.000 Euro an den Hospiz Verein Vilsbiburg spenden. Der Verein leistet mit seinen geschulten, ehrenamtlichen Mitarbeiter:innen einen unverzichtbaren Beitrag – sei es im stationären Hospiz, in Seniorenheimen oder direkt bei den Familien. Ihre Arbeit ermöglicht es Schwerstkranken in ihrer vertrauten Umgebung und im Kreis ihrer Lieben zu bleiben. By selling homemade cookies and raffle tickets, an impressive amount of money was raised. Our CEO, Marc O. Eckert, generously matched the total sum, doubling the amount raised. In the end, we were able to donate €2,000 to the Vilsbiburg Hospice Association. The association’s trained, volunteer staff provides invaluable support - whether in the hospice itself, in senior homes, or directly with families. Their work ensures that people with serious illnesses can remain in their familiar surroundings and surrounded by their loved ones. Valley Health System is pleased to have donated 20 beds to New Concepts For Living, a non-profit organization that offers housing and day programs to intellectually and developmentally disabled adults. The beds donated will be used at three of New Concepts for Living’s medical supportive community residences – located in Old Tappan and Hillsdale – designed for those who want a home environment but require 24-hour on-site nursing care. “We are thrilled to see these beds be put to use by an organization that is enriching the lives of those within our community,” said Robert Brenner, MD, MMM, FACHE, President and CEO of Valley Health System.
