Are team events still important? Last weekend, we had an amazing team event at Learn German Fast, and it was fantastic to finally meet everyone in person! After so much virtual communication, we are working from Germany, Austria, Spain, Botswana and other countries, it was a real highlight to see the team live. The sessions were incredibly productive – it’s impressive how much we accomplished together. It was especially rewarding to see what we’ve built over the last seven years. 🎳 Rolling into 2025: Our 5th Jamorie Day! Last Thursday, we kicked off the new year with our first #JamorieDay of 2025, and it was nothing short of amazing! As one of the key elements of #NewWork, we believe that regular in-person meetups and shifting workspaces boost creativity and collaboration. That’s why we decided to head to Cologne to start the new year in an inspiring environment. A big thank you to eco – Association of the Internet Industry for providing us with the perfect space to come together – we’re truly grateful for the collaboration! 🙌 Here’s what we accomplished: ✨ Morning Momentum We began the day with a management infoslot, focusing on Jamorie’s future structure, followed by an inspiring workshop on sharpening our USP #CustomerExperience. 💡 Knowledge Exchange An exciting session on #AI-driven development brought fresh perspectives on how we can meaningfully and effectively integrate AI into projects to bring greater value to our customers. 🎙️ Creative Collaboration In the afternoon, we recorded #interviews and brainstormed ideas on innovation structures and knowledge management. Stay tuned – we’ll be sharing our videos in the coming days! 📅 Planning Ahead We outlined our 2025 event roadmap and made key decisions on our #ProjectManagement tooling to streamline collaboration and enhance efficiency moving forward. 🎳 Striking Fun We wrapped up the day with a #bowling team event: whether hitting strikes or cheering each other on, the fun, competition and laughter capped off the day perfectly! After a 9-week journey, European Commission staff report a 94% satisfaction rate with the Humanize Dyad practice. Feeling incredibly proud to share the success of our Humanize Dyad Program with the European Commission, taught by Senior Teacher Martin Buechele. We aimed to address the need for improved well-being and resilience within organizations, focusing on the European Commission staff. Here's what makes our program stand out: - Science-based Curriculum Our 9-week program, is grounded in science, ensuring participants gain valuable skills in social and emotional intelligence. - Daily Self-reflection Practice A structured 15-minute "Daily Dyad" exercise between two individuals fosters empathy, resilience, and gratitude, enhancing personal growth and social connections. - High Satisfaction and Engagement With a 94% participant satisfaction rate and minimal dropout, the program proves its effectiveness and ability to engage participants deeply. The success of this pilot with the European Commission highlights the relevance and impact of our program in 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐫, 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞. At the start of this year, I dove into Julia Gehmacher‘s Arise workshop to set and refine my goals for the year. Reflecting now, I realize just how much has unfolded. 🙌 Travel has topped my agenda, taking me from Lower Austria to Malaga and Sorrento. I cherished every trip, finding new joys in journeys that last year didn’t bring. This year also brought precious couple time through these travels, but more pivotally, it shifted my mindset. I’ve moved from seeing the glass half empty to asking, “How can I help you succeed?” Embracing listening, respect, and support has been transformative, especially for someone as candid as me. Parenting took a turn towards nurturing skills and independence over gifting toys and gadgets—a choice I deem invaluable. Professionally, it was a year of deep analysis for oha! digital - I deconstructed our operations to understand our needs, recognizing that we’ve outgrown our 2020 mindset when we were just a duo. Now a team of five, our needs have evolved, demanding more tailored strategies. I also wrapped up my diploma in sustainability management. With 2025 on the horizon, expect significant shifts at oha! We’ve even dabbled in AI, integrating tools that streamline our workflows. It’s clear—keep up or miss out. Admittedly, sports and fitness fell by the wayside after a rough start to the year health-wise, leading to a neglected priority list. But it’s slated for a major comeback next year, prompted by my back’s plea for movement. Just wrapped up two incredibly insightful days at the CEO Communication seminar by Deutsche Akademie für Public Relations GmbH (DAPR), led by Katalin Genius, and it was such a great experience! The deep dive into strategic positioning for Executives and integrating these strategies into broader corporate communications was extremely helpful, and it was also very interesting to learn new approaches and best practices. I’m taking away so many new ideas and can’t wait to apply them in my work!
