Immer wenn ich Frank Wesseler dabei zusehe, was er mit Word, PowerPoint und Co. so zaubert bin ich erstaunt, was da alles geht :) Seine Begeisterung, die Zeichen-Tools in diesen Office-Alleskönner-Programmen auszutesten und dort alles rauszukitzeln ist ansteckend. Ich bin als Grafiker natürlich verwöhnt von Procreate und Co. Aber nicht jeder kann/darf diese ausgefuchsten iPad Grafik-Apps im seinem beruflichen Kontext und Setting nutzen. Dann ist es enorm hilfreich zu wissen, was alles möglich ist, mit den Mitteln die vorhanden sind. Zumal in vielen beruflichen und agilen Kontexten ja der Prozess und weniger das „schöne Endergebnis“ im Vordergrund steht. Also das Visualisieren mit Bord-Mitteln um schnell zu einem gemeinsamen Verständnis zu gelangen und mit dem Stift von Iterarion zu Iteration zu denken.

Der FlexScan EV2795 von Eizo versteht sich als 27-Zoll Monitor für das Büro und obwohl hier durchaus CAD als Anwendungsmöglichkeit genannt wird, gehört das Modell nicht zu der bekannten ColorEdge Serie. Gemessen am primären Einsatz in der Verwaltung fällt das Modell daher höherpreisig aus. Durch die Möglichkeit zur Verkettung mehrerer Monitore mit dem PC oder Notebook über eine einzelne USB-C Verbindung im Daisy-Chain-Verfahren, zahlreiche Anschlüsse und einen integrierten KVM Switch deuten sich jedoch bereits gute Gründe an, warum hier etwas tiefer in den Geldbeutel gegriffen werden muss. Regionalverband Großraum Braunschweig has purchased 101 state-of-the-art iBus real-time information displays. The 13” E-paper displays show the next bus departures in real-time, allow a view of the timetable and announce the departures including the route and destination by using the push-button. The displays also reveal delays, disruptions or breakdowns. "It is important to us to make using public transport easier and more convenient," explained Association Director Ralf Sygusch. The Danish company headed by Michael Borrensen is about to come to market with a model that is less expensive than the rest of the production, ready to become an interesting combination of elegance and good sound reproduction. Here are the first reports we were able to find. The Børresen X1s are the Danish manufacturer’s entry level model, but beware, this is still a speaker with prices around 5,000 euros list price to which about 1,000 euros must be added if stands are desired. <img data-expand="600" data-src="https://lnkd.in/de8g2NF3" /> Børresen X1: a valuable entry level Speakers Børresen X1 were made from the knoh-how accumulated with the M, 0 and Z series. In Børresen’s X-series speakers you will find components already seen on the more expensive series, such as the brand new Spread-tow carbon membrane, the highly appreciated Børresen ribbon tweeter and the use of copper caps in the magnetic motor system. The X1 measures 42 x 20 x 39 cm (HxWxD). Measurements designed to give the possibility of placing the speaker in different types of environments. In addition to the tweeter we find a 4.5-inch midwoofer. The cabinet surface can rely on black or white lacquer finishes reinforced with carbon fiber inserts. The cabinet is made of a wood composite material with reinforcements designed to minimize distortion. The type of loading is bass reflex. Much importance is given by Danish engineers to the stand, a key element in order to make the Børresen X1s perform at their best. Gestern dieses Digital Signage Display im Einsatz gesehen – ein Windows Blue Screen mitten im öffentlichen Raum. 🤦♂️ Natürlich ist das Ziel „niemals einen schwarzen Bildschirm“ zu haben, hier technisch erfüllt. Aber wie wir sehen, ist ein Blue Screen natürlich auch keine wirkliche Lösung. Es zeigt einmal mehr, wie wichtig es ist, robuste und zuverlässige Lösungen im Bereich Digital Signage einzusetzen, die nicht nur „irgendetwas“ anzeigen, sondern auch im Fall von Fehlern professionell und benutzerfreundlich agieren.
