Knowledge is power. As we celebrate the opening of Bayer Itaba, our seed processing facility in Kabwe, Zambia, we also recognize the importance of agronomic practices and education in helping farmers produce more. As such, we were excited to begin this week's events with a Bayer Field Day held at Lusaka's Agricultural Knowledge & Training Center, a joint effort between the German and Zambian governments to bring best farming practices to the region's farmers. Bayer CEO Bill Anderson and Bayer Africa Head Debra Mallowah joined dozens of farmers and ag professionals for a look at how the advent of technologies like hybrid seeds can change farming for the better. #AgInnovation #GrowWithBayer

A new concept for the management of pests in agriculture. Plenexos, our new ketoenol insecticide to be available in 2026, is one of ten blockbuster products launching within the next decade. Plenexos will be an important tool for many farmers around the world. Not only is it broadly applicable across a variety of crops, but its safety, sustainability, and efficacy profile are unmatched, as Plenexos is a ketoenol taken up by the plant, providing extended protection against pest feeding damage. We spoke with Dr. Rainer Fischer, the father of ketoenol insecticides, as well as #TeamBayer members Daniela Aguirre and Frederic Top and PROTEPLAN Research Scientist and farmer Clérison R. Perini on what differentiates Plenexos from other crop protection solutions. #InsideInnovation #AgInnovation #AgTech

#TeamBayer is committed to making farming better for farmers around the world. And the reality is that, despite comprising slightly less than half of the world's farmers, women produce nearly three quarters of the world's food (according to the World Economic Forum), often on small plots of land that support their immediate communities. With commitments like our 32 million-euro investment into a seed processing facility in Kabwe, Zambia, we're looking to equip farmers with the tools they need to produce more, feed their communities, and #AccelerateAction. #IWD2025
