Tackling food waste and hunger in Indonesia, Astrid Paramita is one of 15 winners to receive the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award 2024. Since 2017, Astrid and her enterprise FoodCycle Indonesia have been on a mission to reduce food waste and combat hunger in the community. Wir können insgesamt 45 Schulen bei ihren inklusiven Wissenschaftsprojekten unterstützen. Um junge Menschen für Wissenschaft und Forschung zu begeistern, ist es wichtig, ihre Neugier zu wecken und sie zu ermutigen, auch scheinbar Selbstverständliches zu hinterfragen. Deshalb setzen wir uns dafür ein, allen Altersgruppen die Begeisterung für die Wissenschaft zu vermitteln. Wir sind stolz darauf, Grundschulen, Sekundarschulen und Gymnasien gleichermaßen zu unterstützen, wobei die beiden von uns geförderten Sonderschulen besonders hervorzuheben sind. Our science and social innovation programs are part of our effort to advance the Sustainable Development Goals, including gender equality.
