Bertelsmann Investments Digital Partners fosters innovation by finding collaborative growth opportunities between Bertelsmann divisions and tech companies inside and outside the existing Bertelsmann Investments portfolio company network. We focus on high-growth startups and platforms with best-in-class teams and technologies interested in partnering with one of the world’s preeminent media, services and education companies. We tailor our partnership vehicles based on the company‘s stage and business objectives. The Digital Partners team at Bertelsmann Investments accelerates innovation via three initiatives: (1) We back emerging and established fund managers in Europe with deep expertise in enterprise and consumer technologies who share Bertelsmann’s core values and the ambition to drive growth, value creation, and financial returns. (2) We co-develop and partner up with early stage innovative startups and divisions via our “INNtro“ workshops, an original format bringing high-potential entrepreneurs together with division experts to assess pressing challenges and experiment with mutually valuable business solutions leveraging horizontal technologies. (3) We collaborate with later stage tech companies by mobilizing our content, services, and education brands globally and benefiting from a broad-ranging international network that includes contacts to Bertelsmann’s top management across all divisions and sectors. We are located in Berlin and in Los Angeles.
