  • Automated test data provisioning powered by AI is revolutionizing how organizations overcome AI's data compliance challenges. For businesses looking to stay competitive or struggling to maximize AI's potential due to limited data, understanding synthetic data, its generation, and its immediate business value is essential. db.io/speak - our speaker series that brings thought-leaders into the bank to share new perspectives and debate industry trends – recently had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Nicolai Baldin, Co-Founder and CEO, and Emmanuel Sevrin, Head of Product for Synthesized. Together, they showcased how Synthesized's advanced AI algorithms enable organisations to securely generate, mask, and anonymize realistic, production-like data. This empowers organisations to unlock the full potential of AI and machine learning, accelerate development and testing cycles, and ensure high-quality, reliable applications—all while maintaining compliance with global data privacy regulations like GDPR. Our host, Marie Lauri, Global Head of Data Risks & Controls, emphasized the game-changing impact of synthetic data, noting, "As AI continues to revolutionize industries, synthetic data will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and ensuring compliance in a privacy-focused world. Overall, this shift will create a more agile, secure and forward-thinking workplace for our employees, positioning us for long-term success.” #AI #Data #innovation

  • 🙋♀️ Building sustainability and agility into our culture, mindset and behavior has always been a priority for us. Our Agile Coaches recently did a week-long Agile workshop with women employees to train them for the ICAgile (International consortium for Agile) ICP-ACC certification. The workshop called #WomenInAgility had the theme “Inner Strength” and was dedicated to gender diversity and empowering women employees at any level in the organisation to develop relevant skills and competencies that will enable them to help their teams and the organisation to further embrace agility. This was a complete experiential, practice-based outcome focused 5-day workshop held in our Pune offices and led and supported by ICAgile Accredited & Authorised instructors and trainers. 🇮🇳 ☑️ All 25 participants finished the workshop successfully and were awarded their ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) certifications. #DeutscheBank #EngineerTheFuture #MoreThanBanking #Agile #Coaching

  • 🌐 When we launched our API Program in 2016, no one could have imagined the transformation it would bring. From the beginning, our goal was to use banking data to build products that would make consumers' lives easier. To do this, we create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that our partners can use to integrate banking data into their own offerings. 💻 As technical as this may sound, API products involve the work of the entire organisation: In addition to providing technological foundations such as API platforms, we have to digitalise processes, clarify product terms or create contracts. Our API landscape has created exciting new roles and areas of work within the organisation, and our TDI team plays a central role Deutsche Bank's digital transformation. We are always happy to share what we have learnt over the years to help move topics such as Open Banking and Embedded Finance forward. That's why Joris Hensen, co-founder of the API Program, talks about his experiences in two podcasts. 🎙️ He shows how digital transformation works in a large organisation, what factors are crucial for Open Banking and what products are being created in the process. Drawing on the history of our API Program, he also looks at how innovation can succeed and what practical knowledge can help. ➡️ Podcast “What is innovation”: https://lnkd.in/dMgM3j_3 ➡️ Podcast “FYI – For your innovation”: https://lnkd.in/eu3pxCES #Innovation #API #OpenBanking #EmbeddedFinance

  • As #AI rapidly changes industries, it's crucial to ensure it operates fairly and transparently. To delve deeper, db.io/speak - our speaker series that brings thought-leaders into the bank to share new perspectives and debate industry trends – was delighted to welcome Roberto Bentivoglio and Michele Ridi from RadicalBit. Together, they emphasized that keeping a close eye on AI systems—known as observability—is key to making AI both powerful and ethical. Observability allows us to understand how AI makes decisions, promoting transparency and mitigating biases. It also enhances AI reliability by promptly identifying and addressing issues, essential for its effectiveness across various fields. Renato Menna, Distinguished Engineer and #DeutscheBank Host for this insightful speaker session, highlighted that gaining user trust is paramount for AI's success. Observability bridges the gap between AI capabilities and user expectations, ensuring that AI development aligns with ethical standards and societal values. Moreover, observability fosters innovation by empowering our developers to confidently enhance AI models through continuous improvement. By embracing observability, we pave the way for AI that benefits everyone, ensuring a future where AI is both powerful and principled. #EngineerTheFuture #MoreThanBanking
