Are you monitoring antibiotic residues in milk?🥛 Discover a new detection method promising a simpler, faster, and more cost-effective way! The method involves the use of FraMiTrACR AB units, which are based on centrifugal ultrafilters, for a capacity for up to 15 mL of milk or milk-based samples. The fractionation method using FraMiTrACR AB units involves filling the units with a volume of spiked raw milk samples and centrifuging to effect fractionation into the constituent water and fat/protein phases. The filtrate (water phase) is then retained for direct analysis by LC–MS/MS. The #FraMiTrACR AB has been co-developed by #pureMilk analytical GmbH and #Sartorius Lab Instruments GmbH & https://ow.ly/5ygr50Slt0a. This method allows for the detection of antibiotic residues directly from the water phase of milk without further preparative steps, leading to a reduction in personnel costs by reducing the active working time of laboratory staff, as well as operational and stock management costs.
