🌟 Another amazing year at the Tech Rec Conference 🌟 Just wrapped up an incredible two days at the Tech Rec Conference. From insightful presentations to engaging workshops and dynamic roundtables, every moment was a learning opportunity. I'm buzzing with new thoughts and ideas to bring back to our team. A big thank you to everyone who made this event such a rewarding experience. Time to a little #throwback 😎 I first attended #techrec in 2021, completely online and although the networking part of it was missing I learned a bunch and used some of the insights to lead me where I am today. Fast forward 2 years, I had the chance to attend and speak at Tech Rec on how to effectively find, engage and nurture Executive Talent 🚀 This time, I'm hoping anyone who attended can leverage those tips and tricks to leverage #talentacquisition as a function! 🚀 To AI or not to AI?? 🤔 Is that still the question? After an exhilarating 2 days at the Tech Rec Berlin with Vladimir Moro Aponte, hosting a workshop, and engaging with industry peers and thought leaders, it's clear that AI will be the driving force in the coming months and years. I must admit, I'm easily excited by emerging technology, especially its potential to enhance our daily lives in attracting and retaining talent. Am I afraid it will replace recruiters? No. However, it will undoubtedly impact the way we work, bringing us closer to the table we desire a seat at by providing better data and insights to the business. Since I published a research paper on #ai in #recruitment in 2020 (check the link in my profile!), much has evolved. Yet, a few key principles remain constant, and I hope you can resonate with them: • 🌐 Get the basics right: Have clear processes and guidelines on how to attract top talent; don't just hope AI will fix it for you. • 📊 Data integrity: Maintain your systems or other data sources to best support machine learning. • 🔄 Train and build trust: Don't just throw new tech at your stakeholders and teams. Help them adapt through proper training. • 🗣️ Listen to your customers: Whether they're hiring managers or candidates, don't design and implement without knowing what they want. They can sniff out AI immediately if applied unethically or if it entirely replaces human interaction. Conclusion: Our journey in integrating AI into TA has just begun at zooplus. While many excellent solutions exist, not all will fit our needs. My personal approach will be to build the right partnerships to help us navigate the AI jungle, keeping investments reasonable, and learning from their experiences. 🌐💡 P.S.: post drafted by myself and reviewed by chatgtp!
