🍾 We are celebrating young racing driver Calvin de Groot, the winner of this year’s NXTGenCup! 🏆 It was an extremely exciting showdown at the Hockenheimring with Calvin de Groot and Viktor Nielsen both starting with a chance of winning the title. Nielsen started strong, taking pole position and adding pressure, but Calvin de Groot kept his focus and overtook him on the final lap. This is his first title in 14 years of racing and he says „it feels amazing”. We’re also amazed that he took the title while driving our beloved VARTA car. 🤩 So congrats again to Calvin de Groot and a big thank you to all the participating drivers and the entire NXT Gen-Team for a fantastic season of all-electric racing action. #VARTAautomotive #Clarios #NXTGenCup #ElectricRacing #Hockenheimring

Get ready for an electrifying showdown at the Hockenheimring ⚡️ The final round of the NXTGenCup takes place this weekend, with young male and female racing drivers battling it out once again. Calvin de Groot is in the best position to win the title, just ahead of VTNRacing Victor Nielsen and Enzo Hallmann. Being the overall leader is not the only reason, why we have a special focus on Calvin, as he has also been drawn to drive our VARTA branded car.
