  • We’ve hit a new major milestone in the GVE project! 🎉 🔥 The first synchronisation of the turbine at GREEN VALLEY ENERGIE’s (GVE) cogeneration plant is now a reality, actually the 16th October! Months of intense work, precise planning, and engineering have all led to this significant achievement 💪 From the first fire and steam optimisation to this incredible step with synchronisation, it’s a momentous leap forward — one that marks a critical phase for the teams who have dedicated themselves to this project for months. The next phase brings us even closer to our goal: producing renewable electricity and delivering a reliable, efficient, and eco-friendly energy source for our industrial customer, Green Valley Energie. Who’s behind this joint venture? Green Valley Energie is a joint venture consisting of Pearl Infrastructure, Veolia, and Norske Skog Golbey. The project features a 131 MWt AET Biomass Boiler, 25 MWe steam turbine, and aims to slash greenhouse gas emissions by 210,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, generating enough electricity to power over 32,000 homes 🌱 The teams are more motivated than ever; we are pushing forward to complete the next steps!
