Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn. (and sometimes you cry...) A part of R&D and building new technologies is mistakes. This is our biggest mistake to date. Crashing our $500,000 drone... HOWEVER, the important part is that we learned A LOT! We have had a rough road since this occurred in 2023, but we're in a strong new position. We have PIVOTED from building drones to building payload systems for drones! The episode took place at entrepreneurial event of the year, TechBBQ, in Copenhagen. At TechBBQ 2022, Travis James Mathers took the stage and won the pitch competition for the Danish episode. Airflight won a $50,000 investment and qualified for "Meet the Drapers" semi-final in Silicon Valley! In September 2023, Travis and Mikkel K. competed in the "Meet the Drapers" semi-final in Silicon Valley where Airflight was 1 of 12 startups competing. Only the top 3 startups automatically qualified for the "Meet the Drapers" finals for a chance to win the $1 million investment. Unfortunately, Airflight was not one of the 3 automatic qualifiers. HOWEVER, AIRFLIGHT STILL HAS A CHANCE TO WIN! THREE startups will be voted back into the finals by YOU!
