🌍 At Aller Aqua, sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s part of who we are. We're proud to announce that our European factories have achieved a 32% CO2 reduction. This milestone was made possible by switching to locally produced soya in 2023, reducing our reliance on Brazilian imports and cutting emissions significantly. Using the latest data from LCA studies, our commitment to local sourcing is more than just an environmental benefit—it also supports local suppliers and strengthens regional economies. As one of the leaders in the aquaculture industry, we're continuously innovating and implementing sustainable practices. Our mission is clear: to lead the way in reducing our carbon footprint while producing premier quality feed. Thank You for a Successful AQUA2024 Event! As AQUA2024 comes to a close, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the event organizers for their incredible efforts in bringing together the aquaculture industry. Your dedication has truly made this event a great success. We also wish to express our gratitude to all the visitors who attended our booth. Your enthusiasm and commitment are essential in driving further developments and embracing sustainable, innovative approaches within our industry. We were honoured to have Aller Aqua Group CEO Anders Carøe Bylling participate as a panelist in the session on Optimizing Fish Farming Operations. His insights, alongside those of other industry leaders, emphasized the importance of collective efforts to enhance sustainability in aquaculture. Additionally, we were thrilled to have Prof. Turid Mørkøre from NMBU (Norwegian University of Life Sciences) present the research results of Aller Aqua feed with inclusion of black soldier fly meal, as part of a collaborative public-funded project (full scale research licence). The findings underscore the success of including insect meal improved taste, firmness, growth, and overall efficiency. Aller Aqua's efforts and research on black soldier fly meal continue, and we are excited about the future possibilities it holds. Thank you once again for making AQUA2024 a memorable and impactful event. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and pushing the boundaries of innovation in aquaculture.
