Last week, we hosted a cozy, inspiring CEO dinner in Helsinki for the growing Finnish B Corp community! Mia and Lovis from our B Lab Nordics team joined some of Finland’s pioneering leaders who are redefining what it means to be an impactful business. 🌍 The evening was all about sharing stories, sparking ideas, and diving into what’s possible for B Corps in Finland. Right now, eight certified B Corps are leading the way here, and it’s only the beginning! 🇫🇮 We believe there’s something truly powerful about gathering in person. It’s where ideas are born and where we’re reminded that none of us are in this alone. B Lab Nordics enters a new chapter: New leadership, new energy & a new office space! 🌿 As the seasons change, so do we! 🍂 We’re excited to share some big news: 🌍 Leadership transition: As of October 1st, B Lab Nordics is now part of B Lab Europe. After 10 remarkable years of growing the B Corp movement in the Nordics - beginning with the certification of the first B Corp in Denmark in 2015 and expanding to a thriving community of over 150 B Corps across the region - Nille Skalts and the MäRK Cph team handed over management of B Lab Nordics to B Lab Europe. We are immensely grateful for their leadership and vision, which has made the movement what it is today, laying a strong foundation for our next chapter. We look forward to continuing collaboration with MäRK as they remain a cherished part of our community as a certified B Corp and B Corp Way Partner. 🙌 Meet Our New Manager, Gitte Rosholm: We’re so happy to introduce Gitte as the new B Lab Nordics Manager! Celebrating 100+ B Corps in Denmark! 🇩🇰✨ It has been an inspiring journey to spotlight the incredible B Corps that are leading the way in Denmark and the world! 🌍 Today, as we conclude our series, we celebrate not just these 100+ businesses but the entire community striving to use their business as a force for good. We spoke to Jess Fleischer from Son of a Tailor and Rikke Rasmussen from moshi moshi mind, two brilliant Danish B Corps who are reimagining sustainability, purpose, and well-being in their industries. From custom-made, zero-waste apparel to a mindfulness-centered approach to fashion, just two very inspiring companies and great examples of how businesses can innovate and improve their positive impact on people and the planet around them. B Corp this is more than just a certification. We’re a community – a movement – of people and companies working together, sharing ideas, and continuously aiming to become better every day. 🌱💪 And this collaboration is what makes B Corp special. We believe in lifting each other up, fostering partnerships, and finding new ways to create a positive impact. It’s not about power or profit alone; it’s about using business to benefit everyone - our employees, customers, communities and the world around us, our planet. We are celebrating +100 B Corps in Denmark! 🇩🇰 🇩🇰 And with that we want to introduce some of the many pioneers in our community who are leading the way and use their business to do good for all people and the planet around them! One of them is ZENZ Organic - a Danish company that specializes in sustainable hair and beauty products, working holistically in pushing the boundaries of professional beauty products without harmful ingredients - aiming for better health and natural beauty! We spoke with Jørgen Skjødt, CEO of ZENZ Organic who emphasised the importance of the B Corp community and the knowledge sharing among its members. He explained how this not only helps them identify areas to further elevate their impact, but also highlights our shared responsibility as businesses to care for both people and the planet, working together to achieve lasting change. 🤲 🌎

Read into our latest report 💡💡 Over 1,000 respondents shared their invaluable feedback with us earlier this year through surveys and focus groups as part of our effort to evolve the B Corp Standards. In this report, we summarize the 16,000+ pieces of qualitative feedback received during the consultation and outline how we’re moving forward to finalize the standards. We’re excited to share how this collective insight has shaped the Evolution of Standards and the next steps on this journey. As Judy Rodrigues, Director of Standards at B Lab Global, says: "Collaboration with the community and stakeholders to shape the standards is integral to ensuring B Corp standards are ambitious yet achievable, focusing on galvanizing impactful business action on the most pressing social and environmental issues of our time." At B Lab, these standards are at the heart of the BCorp movement. They define the social, environmental, and governance best practices for businesses that drive our vision of an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative global economy, one that benefits all people and the planet.
