    Colleagues, customers, and partners got a firsthand glimpse of the new YAS brand logo and DNA at Copenhagen Fashion Week. YAS has bid farewell to punctuation marks between the letters in its name. The punctuation once served as a reference to the brand's origins as an abbreviation for "Your Apparel and Style". The new logo also features a more elegant and streamlined font, reflecting a shift towards a more sophisticated aesthetic. This aligns well with one of YAS's two new taglines “Essential elegance”. The other new tagline, "Always worth a closer look," reinforces YAS's attention to meticulously crafted details, and the continuous focus on approaching all products with diligent care.     Let’s hear it for the summer class of 2024! 🎓 Last week was all smiles and tears as 91 apprentices celebrated the end of their two-year apprenticeships, graduating from their education at BESTSELLER.   The summer class of 2024 gathered for a graduation ceremony at the Aarhus office, as they were honoured with flowers, delicious food, speeches, and music. At each graduation ceremony, we celebrate an apprentice who has left a remarkable impact on their colleagues, leaders, and customers throughout their apprenticeship. This year, the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award was presented to Jeppe Hynkemejer Hansen, Retail Apprentice at Rømerhus in Aarhus, Denmark. “It’s a fantastic recognition to receive. I’m extremely proud to receive the award, but also just of being nominated for it,” says Jeppe. Thank you to all graduating apprentices.     A plan is only a plan until you come up with a new one 👀 That’s a lesson Trine Jakobsen, Student Worker at BESTSELLER TECH, has learned very early in her career. After finalising a bachelor’s degree in journalism, she decided to change direction and pursue new challenges within the ever-changing world of Tech. Surrounded by generous colleagues sharing both academic and professional expertise, Trine has learned that the combination of studying and working is very valuable. “I’ve never had the feeling that I’m ‘just’ a student worker – my colleagues always encourage me to voice my opinions and take on as much responsibility as possible. Having such support and trust from my team enables me to grow faster than I thought possible.” Steering both a master's degree at Aarhus University and a part time position at BESTSELLER TECH, Trine definitely doesn't spend much time being bored: “My master’s degree in IT, communication, and organisation goes hand in hand with my interests within Tech – a broad field I get to explore and become confident with in my work. My position has also allowed me to convert theory into practise, which is something I find highly motivating.” We're pretty happy to have Trine onboard!

    Copenhagen Fashion Week set the stage for the very first presentation of collections bearing the ROUGE EDIT label.   The official launch was an event Tuesday afternoon – the day before the official opening of CIFF – in the heart of the city, with tunes from a talented harp player and local embroiderers who customised a signature tote bag for all the guests. "The harp music created an atmosphere where guests could relax and join conversations – and leave the event feeling connected to the brand. We were proud to hear that our guests could clearly see ROUGE EDIT establishing itself as its own brand and brand universe with its new logo and wordmark," says Melissa Bech, Brand Development Specialist at VILA. Before relaunching, ROUGE EDIT were known as VILA ROUGE.
