He has also selected a frequency-controlled MBM mill, which allows him to adjust the grinding degree directly via the rotor speed.

This ensures a more consistent feed composition, reduces wear, and provides better control over production.⁣ ⁣ “𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸, 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘯, 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘥. • 👩🎓 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡 - 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞⁣ ⁣ At Big Dutchman, we highly value new talents who are passionate about innovation in agriculture. That's why we are pleased to have Sarah as an intern with us during this period.⁣ ⁣ Sarah is studying to become an Agrotechnologist in Aarhus and will start her professional bachelor's degree in Nature and Environment with a specialization in livestock this summer. Alongside her studies, she works weekends at a sow farm. Her interest in technology, production, and animal welfare aligns perfectly with our work.⁣ ⁣ During her internship with us, Sarah focuses on testing and evaluating our products by gathering feedback from customers.⁣ ⁣ Right now, she is particularly working with our free-access farrowing pens and various products designed to improve workflow efficiency for farm staff.⁣ ⁣ In addition to her internship with us, Sarah is also interning at Elite Opti in Vejen, a feed advisor specializing in feed and production optimization. Here, she participates in farm visits and helps customers optimize feed recipes.⁣ ⁣ Sarah's approach to work reflects the values we cherish at Big Dutchman: commitment, independence, and a passion for improving production through technological solutions rooted in everyday farm life.

Now, the results are in, and they clearly demonstrate significant progress in production.⁣ ⁣ 📊 Key improvements:⁣ ⁣ ✅ Mortality in the farrowing house has dropped by 5 percentage points⁣ ⁣ ✅Higher self-weaning – weaned pigs per sow increased from 10.5 to 12.1⁣ ⁣ ✅Healthier, stronger, and more robust pigs, leading to a decrease in mortality in the weaner stable from 5% to just 1.4%⁣ ⁣ 💬 “𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘵,” says Tommy Petersen.⁣ ⁣ At Big Dutchman, we take pride in delivering solutions that don’t just promise improvements—they deliver them in practice.⁣ ⁣ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬?
