For this year's Bolia Design Awards, we've received innovative design ideas from talented designers around the world. Now, we're thrilled to announce this year's winners! 🏆 The Jury Prize has been awarded to Patchwork Trays by GINI MOYNIER from Switzerland. Inspired by Korean Bojagi textile patchwork, this collection combines various wood species into a modern, graphic design. By using natural, durable wood, it honours traditional off-cut patterns while blending Korea’s textile heritage with Swiss woodworking craftsmanship. Patchwork reimagines these techniques for a resource-conscious world. 🏆 You have chosen the People’s Choice Prize winner: the Morsa Chair by Alessa Grotz from Germany. This lounge chair strikes a perfect balance of comfort, durability, and timeless style. With an oak base and lightweight aircraft plywood seat, its modular design allows for easy disassembly, repair, and customisation.
