    Etat Libre d'Orange har en ny historie at fortælle - "THE STORY OF YOUR LIFE" Den nyeste parfume fra mærket med de interessante navne er en omfavnende duft, som med stor sandsynlighed kan blive en favorit i den kølige tid, vi går i møde. For 18-årige i Etat Libre d'Orange indfanger Story of Your Life essensen af en længe ventet og endelig fundet kærlighed. Duften hvisker ekkoet af en mærkelig drøm, hvor håb bliver til virkelighed. I din elskedes varme arme stopper tiden, og øjeblikket bliver til evighed. Når ordene svigter os, taler sjælene til hinanden i fuldstændig gennemsigtighed. En olfaktorisk kærlighedshistorie, der åbner sig for hvert sprøjt. Vi flyver væk i en beruselse af følelsernes dybder. Siamesisk benzoe åbner dansen med balsamisk sødme, mens appelsinblomst afslører fyrig sensualitet og indhyller sanserne i en fængslende blomsteromfavnelse. I baggrunden tager læderagtige noter over, imponerende og dristige, efterfulgt af den jordagtige rigdom af patchouli. Endelig blødgør mælkeagtige strejf kompositionen og skaber en signatur, der er både intim og trøstende, som et løfte om evighed. På flakonen ses en visuel definition af kærlighed: bevægelser, der gentager sig og fletter sig ind i hinanden, som hjertets slag. ___ Some of us have known it, others have yet to experience it, but we are all waiting or looking for it.     Pierre Dinand the father of perfume design. Pierre Dinand is a crucial figure for all of us. As the father of perfume bottle design, he introduced contemporary gems and laid the foundation for modern perfumery vessels. Let's learn from him. → A Man with storytelling. Pierre Dinand, the son of an engineer, began his art studies in 1950s Paris. Drafted to fight in Indochina, a senior officer allowed him to attend courses at Cambodia's Royal Art School. There, he worked with archaeologists at Angkor Wat, studying Asian temples and sculptures. Back in France, he joined the auto industry but was dismissed for not having a driver's license. He then impressed his boss at a chemical company with a redesigned product package, finding a new path. → Iconic Bottles minded. This led to a successful career in advertising, where he designed iconic perfume bottles. He collaborated with luminaries like Yves Saint-Laurent, Givenchy, and Dior, propelling him to the top of design and perfumery. → Technical foundation. Perfume bottle design goes beyond shape; a solid technical foundation is crucial. Drawing from his early industry exposure, Pierre Dinand introduced novel materials to challenge glass dominance. → Innovation trough materials. In the '60s, Dinand wanted to encase Paco Rabanne's Calandre in metal but faced industry constraints. He turned to ABS, a cutting-edge material from the car industry, which, when metal-plated, mimicked genuine metal. By the '80s, he discovered a material inside a golf ball that resembled frosted glass, offering unparalleled contrasts and depth. → Shapes, geometry, and rhythm. For Pierre, the shape and rhythms of the facets were always fundamental. In 1982, Giorgio Armani introduced his inaugural women's fragrance. The bottle, by Pierre Dinand, echoed Art Deco's rhythmic geometry – a clear, sculpted glass block with sleek vertical black lines. → How we design nowadays? The approach to designing a perfume bottle hasn't changed much. Its true that we use a lot of digital tools and less sketching, but Pierre's key points remain relevant and crucial. Today, I would add storytelling and a more identity-focused perspective as key factors for exceptional designs, but Pierre's lessons are essential for all of us. To conclude.
