🎉  We are excited to introduce Friederike, our new Research Scientist at Chromologics! 🎉 Originally from Berlin, Friederike completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biotechnology before earning her PhD in Industrial Biotechnology at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research focused on transforming non-conventional, oleaginous yeasts into production hosts for bioproducts. She gained extensive experience in genomics and transcriptomics, developed new methods and protocols, and published her findings in scientific papers. 👩🔬 Before joining us, Friederike worked as a Research Scientist in the Bioprocess Engineering group at VTT in Finland, where she scaled fermentations in bioreactors and coordinated an EU project proposal involving multiple stakeholders. At Chromologics, Friederike will be part of our Research team and develop new strategies for improving red color production through strain engineering. 🔬 We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to her contributions to our team! 🤩 #WelcomeToTheTeam #Sustainability #Biotechnology #Chromologics
