Spinning is a popular activity in CO-RO Denmark and for the past 3 months, around 40 colleagues have been spinning and cycling on behalf of CO-RO to raise funds for an important cause - supporting families and children affected by cancer 💛 The fundraising culminated in the recent Cycling4Cancer event held in Copenhagen - a 24-hour spinning and team-building marathon with around 100 companies participating🚴 All in all, our colleagues managed to cycle almost 13,000 km! Sunquick Sri Lanka, in partnership with digital agency, Affinity Integrated has won the Dragons of Sri Lanka Gold Award 2024 for 'Best Digital Campaign' for its outstanding impact and innovation ⭐🏆 The campaign was designed to raise awareness and support the protection of Sri Lanka's culturally and ecologically significant mountain, Sri Pada (Adam's Peak). Attracting over 500,000 visitors annually, Sri Pada faces substantial environmental challenges due to over 100 tonnes of plastic waste left behind 🌏 Using Virtual Reality, they brought to life the legendary ‘Nade Gura’ - an ancient guide who traditionally escorted pilgrims up Adam’s Peak - to educate visitors on the cultural significance of the mountain and encourage proper waste disposal 🗑️🙏 Throughout the campaign period, more than 50,000 visitors accessed the guide through QR codes! In early 2024, we started the construction of One Plant - a new facility in Denmark where we bring our main production and warehouses under one roof 🏗️ The project includes building a state-of-the-art compound factory, which is the heart of our production, as this is where we create the compound for our Sunquick, Suntop, Suncola and Sun Lolly products. The compound is shipped to over 10 bottling plants worldwide to be transformed into the finished products our consumers know and love 🧃🌍   Constructing a new factory while maintaining our ongoing operations is a significant and complex task involving nearly every department within our organization. To bring this massive project to life, we have partnered with NIRAS who has the expertise to guide us every step of the way. Yesterday, our colleagues at BIDCORO Africa Ltd. had the privilege of hosting the Danish Embassy and over 25 members of the Danish Business Network in Kenya and East Africa 🤝 The Danish Business Network plays a key role in fostering collaboration and strengthening ties between Danish businesses and organizations in the region.
