We are thrilled to announce that Luja™ male is the winner of six design awards! Luja male’s innovative design has earned international acclaim, with an impressive six design awards since its launch, the highest number of awards ever received by a single product at Coloplast! The awards include Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, Good Design Japan, Good Design US, German Design Award, and IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards), and the product has been evaluated on a variety of criteria, such as advancements within its product category, improvements for users, societal impact, and design aesthetics. “We are constantly working on bringing the best experiences to our users, and we do this by balancing four elements: Being ambitious on behalf of our users, respectful about the situations that they are in, having a clear purpose, and making attractive solutions. These four elements combined are the pillars of our design strategy, and I am happy that it is being recognised by our users and also the juries of the various design awards,” says Hans Falleboe, Head of Design at Coloplast. #Coloplast #MakingLifeEasier #Luja

Coloplast has officially broken ground in Portugal! ⛏️ Last week, we broke ground at Felgueiras in the Northern part of Portugal, signalling the start of our growth plan to extend our production capabilities throughout Europe, beyond our current operations in Hungary. The new manufacturing site will produce Coloplast’s intermittent catheters used by people suffering from urinary retention, such as people with a spinal cord injury or spina bifida, who are unable to empty their bladder. Allan Rasmussen, EVP of Global Operations, attended the ground breaking ceremony and expressed his enthusiasm for the new facility: “We are very excited to break ground on this new site, which will enable us to provide high-quality intermittent catheters to more people who need them. This facility is not only a strategic investment for our company, but also a testament to our commitment to improving the lives of people with urinary retention. We are proud to be a leader in this field, and we look forward to expanding our presence and impact in Europe and beyond." The facility is expected to be fully operational by 2026 and will serve the increasing global demand for intermittent catheters, especially in Europe which is the company's largest market. #Coloplast #MakingLifeEasier

At Coloplast, we want every employee to feel that they belong and can bring their true selves to work. We believe that diversity is a strength, and that by embracing and celebrating our differences, we can create a more inclusive, innovative, collaborative, and productive organisation where colleagues thrive. As with many celebrations, historic days, and days of recognition, there is diversity in when and how Pride is celebrated globally, so we have empowered our local offices and employees to celebrate Pride in their own ways. We are proud to see the enthusiasm, creativity, and the diversity of the various initiatives across the globe. Pride month has inspired a range of events: from guest speakers and authors in the LGBTQ+ community to social and networking events, practical information sessions, tips on being a great ally, to local policy updates and beyond. We are proud of our inclusive culture, and we appreciate everyone who has supported and attended events globally during Pride month. Thank you! #Coloplast #MakingLifeEasier #PrideMonth

Women who have pelvic floor disorders should never feel embarrassed to seek help. At Coloplast, we understand the importance of raising awareness and providing support for those going through similar experiences. Our goal is to help individuals feel heard and understood, and to encourage them to take action to address their symptoms at the source. By speaking openly and honestly about their conditions, it can help to reduce the stigma and empower others to take control of their health and wellbeing. Coloplast Interventional Urology recently sponsored a segment that featured on the daily morning show The Balancing Act, which took a closer look at pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and its coexistence with stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Watch the stories of two women suffering from pelvic organ prolapse who sought treatment from an experienced Urogynecologist: https://lnkd.in/ebZC3w4d #Coloplast #MakingLifeEasier #InterventionalUrology #WomensHealth #TheBalancingAct #Restorelle #Altis For important safety information, follow these links: Restorelle® Y: https://lnkd.in/gvRCfaPA Altis® : https://coloplast.to/Altis

Coloplast is proud to participate in World MS Day on May 30. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of the most common diseases of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) – but it is more than a medical condition; it is a unique experience for each individual. When someone is diagnosed with MS, they often have to adapt to changes in their symptoms, many of which are not visible to others. Some people with MS experience bladder and bowel problems, which can interfere with their daily routines. This year's theme for World MS Day, My MS diagnosis - navigating MS together, highlights the importance of community and support. At Coloplast, our vision is to make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs. That is why we use this day to advocate for early and accurate diagnosis of MS. Hear more from Coloplast CEO Kristian Villumsen in this video 👇 #MyMSDiagnosis #WorldMSDay
