And this is exactly what we are trying to change with the Science Hub Denmark project. Copenhagen Capacity’s new strategy for 2024-2027 is out—And the goal is clear: We want to inspire the world to create a sustainable future in Denmark. Metropolitan regions worldwide are actively working to attract talented professionals, innovative companies, and investments, so the competition is fierce. That’s why we will leverage Copenhagen’s strong international brand, Eastern Denmark’s unique business strengths, and Denmark’s inviting work culture to attract international companies, investments, and employees willing and able to help solve the significant societal challenges facing Denmark and the world. We will have three priorities: — Reform. We focus on attracting companies, investments, and talent that make a difference in Denmark’s development. — Research. Last Friday, we facilitated a successful matchmaking event at the International Citizen Days organized by International House.  And what an event! 🌟 Prior to a matchmaking event like this, we at Copenhagen Capacity carefully screen the received applications and match them based on qualifications with our participating companies. This year, we brought together seven companies (Ferrosan Medical Devices, Ramboll, Signifly, Tour Partner Group, Cobham Satcom, L'Oréal & here we are global) to meet 40 pre-screened candidates in 1:1 interviews to discuss current career opportunities at these companies. Thanks to everyone who participated in our matchmaking event and to those who visited our booth on Friday and Saturday. Cambridge Mechatronics Ltd is opening a new R&D centre in Copenhagen!🌍✨ This innovative hub will leverage Denmark’s engineering expertise to push the boundaries of technology, focusing on advanced actuator solutions. CML is renowned for its groundbreaking work with Shape Memory Alloy technology—creating actuators with wires thinner than a human hair, capable of remarkable precision. Their solutions are already integrated into millions of devices, including the recently launched Honor Magic V3 and Vs3 smartphones.
