"I came here for the work but stayed here for the life." ✨ These are the golden words of one of the young international researchers we’ve spoken with. The quote resonates with the growing appeal of Denmark as an international career destination, especially for researchers. However, not enough people globally are aware of what Denmark truly offers. And this is exactly what we are trying to change with the Science Hub Denmark project. In the coming years, our focus will be on sharing how Denmark offers: 🔬 A globally competitive salary that allows researchers to focus on their work 💡 A high degree of research freedom and secure funding 🏆 Top-tier research quality 🤝 A culture built on trust and collaboration This is just the beginning. We’re building momentum, ensuring that Danish research remains a magnet for international talent. More to come as we continue shaping the future of science in Denmark. Check out the article below (in Danish), or contact our colleague Alexander Leopold Watts (alw@copcap.com) who is leading this initiative for more information. #ScienceHubDenmark is supported by Villum Fonden Lundbeckfonden / Lundbeck Foundation and Novo Nordisk Foundation

Copenhagen Capacity’s new strategy for 2024-2027 is out—And the goal is clear: We want to inspire the world to create a sustainable future in Denmark. Metropolitan regions worldwide are actively working to attract talented professionals, innovative companies, and investments, so the competition is fierce. That’s why we will leverage Copenhagen’s strong international brand, Eastern Denmark’s unique business strengths, and Denmark’s inviting work culture to attract international companies, investments, and employees willing and able to help solve the significant societal challenges facing Denmark and the world. We will have three priorities: — Reform. We focus on attracting companies, investments, and talent that make a difference in Denmark’s development. — Research. We will promote Denmark as a leading global research nation, attract new R&D activities, and attract bright minds to Danish universities and companies. — Retention. We will strengthen our efforts to ensure that the international companies and talents who have already come here stay here. We are looking forward to the work ahead of us, together with our close business partners and other stakeholders. Last Friday, we facilitated a successful matchmaking event at the International Citizen Days organized by International House. And what an event! 🌟 Prior to a matchmaking event like this, we at Copenhagen Capacity carefully screen the received applications and match them based on qualifications with our participating companies. This year, we brought together seven companies (Ferrosan Medical Devices, Ramboll, Signifly, Tour Partner Group, Cobham Satcom, L'Oréal & here we are global) to meet 40 pre-screened candidates in 1:1 interviews to discuss current career opportunities at these companies. Thanks to everyone who participated in our matchmaking event and to those who visited our booth on Friday and Saturday. If you want to know more about how we can help you attract or retain international talent or want to participate in our matchmaking events, please contact Head of Talent Attraction Dan Rosenberg or Talent Sourcing Manager Shivangi Singhal. The activities are co-funded by EU Social Fund and the Danish Board of Business Development through the national project ‘Talent to a green Denmark' #ITC2024 #EUinmyregion #TalenttoagreenDenmark

Denmark offers a great experience for international students: world-class education, exciting culture, and the chance to form lifelong connections. However, when the studies are over many of these students leave Denmark. Why? Because transitioning from student life to a professional career can be hard, especially in a foreign country.😓 At Copenhagen Capacity, we're committed to changing this narrative. That's why, for years, we've been helping students with our Young Professionals in Denmark (YPD) initiative. This program is designed to bridge the gap between international students and the Danish job market. Through career counselling, networking opportunities, and workshops with Danish companies, we’re providing these students with the tools they need to land a job in Denmark. Find out more about the YPD program here: https://hubs.ly/Q02Phf_w0 Please share the message with students that we can help!💚 Reach out to Katarina Magic at kma@copcap.com if you have any questions. 📸Kasper Hjorth
