Electrification of off-highway vehicles is not as simple as just swapping out one engine for another. There is a myriad of connected systems that must be considered and reconfigured, as this article in SAE International makes abundantly clear. Case in point are the issues that MPG Makine Prodüksiyon Grubu faced in designing a truck-mounted electric crane, particularly the need for a torque-limiting pump. The solution? The Danfoss Series 45 pump with electronic torque limiting, which proactively and automatically maximizes system pressure in milliseconds for available torque while preventing stalls. “Thanks to the Series 45 ETL pump, we are able to meet the different demands of our customers, not only electrification,” said Veysel ALVER, general manager at MPG. Danfoss Power Solutions is taking connectivity to the next level! We’ve expanded the AxisPro® #proportionalvalves communication capabilities even further to include Ethernet/IP and EtherCAT protocols on top of the Profinet and CANopen protocols. This expansion gives you greater control and easier integration into an expanded range of applications. The valve’s embedded intelligence simplifies traditionally complex setup and control operations, and the plug-and-play design reduces machine build time and installation costs. More great news! The new Pro-FX® Configure v2 software is available for configuration of AxisPro valves utilizing a streamlined workflow, wizard-based setup and parameter-based, real-time tuning. The data center industry is hot … literally and figuratively. With the exponential growth in the energy consumed by and heat generated within today’s computing systems, they must utilize advanced liquid-cooling solutions. #Liquidcooling offers greater efficiency than air cooling, a significantly reduced carbon footprint, and improved heat transfer. The bottom line is there is no room for leaks, failures, or downtime. That’s where Danfoss’ OCP Open Rack V3 Blind Mate Quick connector (ORV3 BMQC) comes in. Our BMQC features an interchangeable design that complies with OCP standards, a blind connection with radial and angular alignment, plus high fluid compatibility and corrosion resistance. Simply put, today’s data centers need the dependability and ease of use of the #Danfoss OCP ORV3 BMQC.
