Thank you to our 2025 Fellowship applicants!🙏 We appreciate everyone who applied for a PhD or Postdoc Fellowship in our 2025 call, as well as those who helped share the opportunity within their networks. This year, we received 124 PhD application and a record high amount of postdoc applications with 69 applications. D3A 3.0 is taking place on 26-27 August 2025 in Nyborg! The call for parallel session proposals is now open. We invite contributions from all disciplines to help shape the programme. Experiment, start with the end, reach out to your favorite science writer! 🙋♀️ There was plenty of good advice—and just as many questions—when DDSA, together with the Dansk Statistisk Selskab (DSTS), invited data scientists at all levels to learn more about sharing their research. A big thanks to journalists Anne Kirstine Hermann and Anders Høeg Lammers, who, along with Associate Professor of Applied Statistics Mikkel Meyer Andersen, helped answer questions on everything from getting started with public outreach to diversity in expert communication. And there’s more on the way! At DDSA, we are planning additional events and a full-day course dedicated to science outreach, so keep an eye on our LinkedIn and website! 👀
