This Monday, we celebrated the graduation of our ECCO graduates with our annual hot chair case competition. It was inspiring to see the culmination of the skills and knowledge they have acquired during their time at ECCO.  Over the past two to three years, these ten graduates have immersed themselves in the ECCO experience, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our organisation from every angle.  Now, they head onto their next adventure – all within ECCO 🤩

A new rewilding project at ECCO Alléen in Tønder has transformed our surroundings at Headquarters into a stunning floral oasis, sparking joy among both employees and visiting guests and animals. Originally, the idea of turning our grass lawns into blossoming landscape came from some of our colleagues and already from the get-go, we knew that it would turn into something beautiful.  But seriously - how pretty is this?? 😍 🌸 🐝 ☀

A real fanatic for shoes, when he is not out with Harris and Archie, his two polite Dachshunds, Liam likes to relax at home surrounded by his collection of nearly 100 pairs of shoes. Magic happens when passion and people meet 😍

June 23 is 'International Women in Engineering Day.' We are proud of the many talented engineers who have chosen to be part of the ECCO family, and we celebrate them today - and all other days. #proudemployer 

BIOM 2.2, HYGGE, & DANISH CUISINE IN COLOMBIA Recently, we introduced ECCO to local media and influencers at Oculto Restaurant in Bogotá, Colombia. The event was highlighted by an exclusive showcase on ECCO as a brand, complete with the unveiling of the cutting-edge BIOM 2.2. The concept of ‘hygge’, a Danish way of life, was incorporated to create a cozy and intimate ambiance – emphasising the importance of bringing ECCO’s Danish heritage and DNA to the Latin American consumer. We can’t wait to see what comes next!

YAY – RePURpose took home Plastprisen 2024! Well done 👏 Polyurethane, also known as PU, is used in a variety of products, including shoe soles. Despite the high value of PU compared to other materials, no efficient method for recycling PU has been known – until now. RePURpose has been successful in developing a method to extract the building blocks of PU so that it can be reused in the production of new materials. Thanks for the acknowledgement, Plastindustrien. We are proud to be part of the team – here’s to sustainable innovations everywhere 😍
