Plastic Engineering Day & The Plastics Exhibition 2024 💡 Each year, the Danish Plastics Federation - Plastindustrien - organizes The Plastics Exhibition and Plastic Engineering Day. The event is a combination of technical talks and networking between students and companies, providing a platform for students to get to know more about the plastics industry and for companies to connect with the students. This year’s event was held at Aarhus University where we once again had the privilege of engaging with motivated students who had many interesting questions and perspectives. Imagine this: The year is 1984. Lars, Ole, Lars Peter and Frank get new jobs. 40 years later, they can celebrate their 40th anniversary with the company! Does this sound like a reliable and truthful story? If not, we understand. According to the OECD, Danes stay in the same job for an average of 6.18 years. Nevertheless, the story is true 😊 If you have followed us for a while or otherwise know our company, you may also know that Lars, Ole, Lars Peter and Frank’s stories do not stand alone. Specifically, we have had no less than 46 40th anniversaries at Elektro-Isola! It is with great respect that we celebrate these milestones and the dedication of our employees 🌟 Each anniversary is very special and tells a unique story about the person who has chosen to dedicate many years of their working life to our company. 🔵 Visit by our American partner, Franklin Fibre - Lamitex Corporation 🔵 We have just celebrated 50 years of partnership with Franklin, which, like Elektro-Isola, is a family-owned company with more than 100 years of experience in the industry. On this occasion, last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Kathie Vachris and James Vachris to Denmark. ⭐ 50 years partnership with Franklin Fibre - Lamitex Corporation ⭐ This week, it is 50 years since we started the cooperation with our American partner, Franklin Fibre-Lamitex Corp. Franklin is also a family-owned company, and a little fun fact is that Elektro-Isola and Franklin are both established in 1921 – only one day apart! We marked the milestone of our partnership with cake for everyone and surprised Franklin in the US with cupcakes for them, too. Visit from Industrial Technician students from SDE!   It is no secret that skills and craftmanship is not achieved over the night 💡   This is one of the reasons why supporting and contributing to the future development of educations related to our business is of very high importance to us.   By contributing to the learning and education of our future colleagues and partners, we are not only getting valuable sparring and insights from new points of view, but we are also committing ourselves to always be our best and ready to share our knowledge.   Last week, we were having a visit from 19 students who are studying at the Industrial Technician education at Syddansk Erhvervsskole.   One of our current apprentices, Emil, told them about his everyday work life at Elektro-Isola and afterwards they were all at a tour in our production facilities.   Thank you for your visit – it is always a blast to have so many young people gathered for a tour and inspiration!   #elektroisola #dedicationincomposites #industrialtechnician #industritekniker
