Hey LinkedIn people🔆 We have some news to share from Hobbii: Over the past 5 years Hobbii has been on an amazing ride with Jeppe Kallesøe as our captain at the helm. But all good things must come to an end, and this week Jeppe has stepped down as CEO. We have been on a fantastic journey! We have grown our revenue by more than 4x, won Børsen's Gazelle as the fastest growing company in Denmark, automated our warehouse, taken our supply chain to the next level, welcomed Verdane as the majority shareholder and so much more. Jeppe, thank you for steering us through it all. Jeppe has now handed over the captain's hat to our very own Martin Diernisse as our new interim CEO. We already know Martin really well as he has been Hobbii’s CFO for the past 4 years. But hey…. otherwise it’s business as usual: We will continue to spread as much yarn and joy in the world as possible🚀 Stay tuned for more updates😎

🎉 Hobbii is in TOP 5 of the best export companies in Denmark! 🎉 We are proud to announce that Hobbii has got to the final of the E-commerce Award ("E-handelsprisen") within the category "Best export" 🤩 The E-commerce Award is the industry's biggest party for the most successful e-commerce companies in Denmark. ✨ Recognition works wonders ✨ Being appreciated gives a dopamine boost, energises and motivates us. At Hobbii, we simply love this free, natural, healthy kind of drug 🤩 To enhance the culture of positive #feedback, a few months ago we started a new initiative called ‘Hobster High Fives’. The purpose of the initiative is to appreciate colleagues who have done something that should be recognized -  helped out, solved a problem in a smart way, came up with a great idea, or whatever that deserves a high five 🙌 Each month Hobbii’s employees have a chance to nominate a colleague, and this way let them and the whole company know that they have done something awesome 🤠 Over the past months we shared the nominations during the monthly Townhalls and on the photo you can see a few examples of them 🎉 Once again, congratulations to: Vanessa White Nicklas K. Whatever it was that Steffen Agger was pointing out on the screen when this photo was taken, it obviously gave the team a reason to smile and it most likely led to yet another improvement implemented by our Tech Wizards 💻🧙♂️ Meet our: - Tech Team Lead, Frej Raahede Nielsen - Software Developer, Steffen Agger - Senior UX Product Designer, Bo Skakke - Senior QA Engineer, Mathilde D. Together, they work in Hobbii’s #Tech department and as you can see, recently got caught by People & Culture paparazzi when taking their daily standup meeting to discuss a replatforming #project which they are currently working on 📸 Fingers crossed for the project, Team 💪

Tomorrow it is the International Women’s Day and this year we’d like to mark it by giving kudos to all the fantastic women working at Hobbii! At this moment, 222 out of our 300 employees are female and among them there are many inspirational, strong and simply fantastic women! Here come only a few examples of what Hobbii’s Super(S)heroes can impress with: - A professional cyclist who aside from working at Hobbii represented her home country, Norway, at Olympic Games in 2021 and also won 2 medals at the European Championship in Apeldoorn, Netherlands in January 2024: GOLD in omnium and SILVER in Points Race! 🚵♂️ - A previous national team boxer, who can undoubtedly kick some a**! 🥊 - A Team Lead who speaks 4 languages fluently 🌎 - A Fighter-Mom of 2 who ran half marathon 3 times 🏃♀️ - A (S)hero who last year ran marathon and dedicated the run to her mom who unfortunately passed away a few years ago 🖤 Our list is incomplete? Tag a female superhero that you'd like to give kudos to ✨ PS. For the occasion of the International Womens' Day, Hobbii will share a pattern which can be used to crochet a pillow with the Girl Power symbol - it is made by the brilliant crochet designer Jennifer Santos @supercutedesign 💪 We love it! #internationalwomensday

🌟 Meet Rasmus Lundegaard Augustesen! 🌟 Today, we're proud to highlight the remarkable initiative which Rasmus promoted at Hobbii not just today but also the previous years. 🎗️ Supporting Børnecancerfonden's noble cause, Rasmus has embraced the spirit of giving by championing the #FodboldtrøjeFredag initiative. ⚽ Apart from his role of a Facebook Ads Specialist at Hobbii, Rasmus is also a huge football fan and he is rarely spotted without his beloved football shirts. Leveraging his love for the game, he took the initiative to rally our team to join him in wearing football shirts today, symbolizing unity in our support for children battling cancer. Pssst!
