New Store Managers prepare for expansion journey in Morocco🌟 As we prepare to open our first stores in Morocco in spring 2025, our newly hired Store Managers have started on an inspiring onboarding. 👔✨ Their adventure began at our Head Office in Denmark, where they engaged themselves in the JYSK history and our values. This included an insightful visit to the JYSK Museum, where they gained a deeper understanding of the legacy and vision that drive our company. 📜💙 The onboarding will continue in Spain, where our new Store Managers will work alongside experienced colleagues in our stores. JYSK marks milestone in construction of distribution centre in the Netherlands 🎉 On Tuesday, 5 November, JYSK reached a major milestone in the construction of its new distribution centre in Lelystad, near Amsterdam in the Netherlands, with the first column now erected. 💬 "This is truly a milestone we have all been looking forward to. We are now seeing the first outlines of what will become our high-tech distribution centre,” says Rob Deinum, Project & Technical Manager at JYSK. JYSK representatives placed the column together with local officials, while more than a hundred guests, including all employees from the temporary distribution centre, attended to celebrate this significant landmark. 🤝 💬 “We want to continue our successful expansion at JYSK, and this ceremony marks the successes we have had so far, while also giving us the opportunity to celebrate with our dedicated employees and business partners,” says Ole Thomsen, Executive Vice President Logistics at JYSK. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the recent floods in the Valencian Community, Spain 💙 As a part of this community with our distribution centre and Head Office in Cheste and our stores, we are committed to supporting all those affected. Many of our colleagues, including those who have been directly affected, are volunteering to help with clean-up efforts and repairs. Store number 100 sets record in JYSK Hungary 🚀 On 24 October 2024, we made history in Hungary with the opening of our 100th store in Debrecen, eastern Hungary – not only was it a historic opening, but it also turned out to be a record-breaking new store opening in terms of turnover. JYSK store openings rarely go unnoticed, and Hungary's 100th store was no exception. Customers began lining up early in the morning, and by the end of the day, many customers went home with great offers. 🛍️ 💬 "The best part of the opening was seeing the big line of customers getting longer and longer, eventually extending all the way outside the centre. I think the store looks fantastic, my colleagues were well-prepared, our products were perfectly presented, and we received a lot of positive feedback from our customers," says Store Manager Sandor Czegledi. At the opening ceremony, JYSK President & CEO Rami Jensen and Country Director for Hungary, Austria, and Greece, Sándor Szimeiszter, gave speeches.
