I dag fejrede vi indvielsen af en ny flot lækagesøgningsbane ved Aarhus Vand. I den danske vandbranche er der en lang tradition for samarbejde, vidensdeling og ikke mindst højteknologisk innovation. Behovet for dansk vandteknologi er stort på verdensplan og åbningen markerede både innovativt samarbejde i branchen men også et ønske om at klæde endnu flere dygtige operatører på til at anvende og skabe værdi med vores løsninger i praksis. READY, set, go! At Kamstrup, we're always ahead—one meter at a time. Yesterday, we laced up our running shoes and joined the annual DHL relay race! This year, more than 400 Kamstrup colleagues came together at Mindeparken for a day filled with friendly competition. In between the races, our team enjoyed relaxing massages, coffee, and lots of delicious pancakes under the sun. By the end of the evening, we celebrated our fastest teams with great prizes. A big shoutout to our top performers, including this year's fastest team, "Supply Chain A," for setting the pace and leading the way! For us it's all about staying ahead—on the track and in the industry. 

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting the attendees of the Advanced Water Cycle Management course at Aarhus Universitet. We are incredibly proud to be part of this course, which brings together talented students and water professionals from around the world, all eager to learn about water resource management, water distribution, and wastewater handling.   During their visit, the students gained valuable insights into our efforts to eliminate water waste and visited our water production facilities. This course is a collaboration between leading Danish experts in the water industry and Aarhus University, aiming at building capacity about sustainable water management.  

Kamstrup prepares for Enlit Europe 2024. From 22-24 October, Enlit Europe takes place in Milan at Fiera Milano. With the energy transition taking centre stage, the event serves to connect industries and inspire prosperous collaborations leading to decarbonised and digitalised energy across Europe. This year, the Kamstrup booth will display products and solutions from both our electricity and water divisions. With emphasis on our newest generation of smart metering solutions, we wish to share our knowledge and experience to inspire increased digitalisation with the many benefits it has to offer – both for utilities and society. Meet Elena, one of our exceptional UX/UI Designers at Kamstrup. Every day, Elena ensures our customers receive the best possible experience by actively engaging with them through case-based work and on-site visits. Her dedication to co-creation helps us deliver solutions that truly meet our customers’ needs while enabling her to make a meaningful impact in the industry. Starting as an intern, Elena progressed to a student worker, and now as a full-time designer, where she continued to expand her knowledge and skills through a blend of courses and hands-on experiences. Today, as a full-time UX/UI Designer, Elena’s growth and contributions are a testament to her hard work and our focus on personal development. We are excited to see the innovative solutions Elena will create next, and we are proud to have her as part of our team.

Aarhus Vand has established an innovative Leak detection field for training in finding leaks in the water pipe network. Through innovative technology and cooperation, Danish and international water operators of the future can train and become qualified in finding leaks in water pipes to minimise water loss. We are proud to supply our ALD technology to the project to provide insight into leakages.   The grand opening of the Leak detection field will take place on Aug 22. Starting your first job as an intern can be scary, and it was no different for our colleague Sine. However, with the support of her colleagues who shared their experiences, Sine quickly realized that making mistakes is a natural part of growth. Thanks to the guidance of her manager, mentor, and wonderful colleagues, Sine has now flourished into her role as a Production Planner. What does a journey within Kamstrup look like? For Jes Lindegren, it all started with an internship that evolved into various job rotations, ultimately leading to his current role as Head of Process & Analysis. At Kamstrup, personal improvement and continuous development are key, and Jes’s journey is a testament to that. From Specialist to People Manager, he has continually enhanced his leadership skills, becoming a better leader every day. We truly believe he succeeds every day - both as a manager and as a parent!
