🙏✨ Where others see obstacles, we see solutions! Successfully executing complex installations in active hospital environments requires not only expertise but also precision and careful planning. At the Specialist Oncology Hospital on Dekerta Street in Gorzów Wielkopolski, our business partner at Technotom Szczecin was responsible for installing pipes for chilled water transmission - a critical component ensuring efficient cooling for the facility's systems. Given the constraints of a fully operational hospital, traditional installation methods were not feasible. Instead, a 50-meter specialized crane was deployed to carefully lower the pipes from above into a custom-prepared channel. This approach minimized disruption to hospital operations while ensuring a safe and efficient installation process. The presentation introduced our company and highlighted the advantages of LOGSTOR pre-insulated pipe systems. A key focus was Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) - crucial factor when selecting the best pipe system. With lifespans of 50+ years, it’s essential to look beyond the initial purchase price and consider the long-term operational costs and durability of the system. Small changes, big impact ♻️ 💚 All our sites reuse incoming cardboard boxes for shipments, as long as they are in good shape. This has been standard practice for some time. Damaged boxes are typically sent for recycling. However, in Denmark, the warehouse has found a practical solution to reduce the amount sent for #recycling and #repurpose these boxes internally. A small machine is rolled out to perforate damaged cardboard pieces, transforming them into a fluffy, fully biological padding material that replaces bubble wrap and polystyrene cushions. ♻️ Result? In Denmark alone, this new solution helps us save approximately 2,000 kg of cardboard per year. Sounds interesting? Contact our Sustainability Director Karin Liljegren for more information.
