🤖🧷Cybersecurity and secure software development in the robotics industry were the themes of Module 3 in the Cyber Safe Robotics programme, which we held for the first time yesterday – successfully hosted at Restaurant Næsbyhoved Skov. Mads Graves from Odense Robotics hosted the day, which featured enriching presentations, sharp questions, good discussions, and valuable feedback👍 We received a comprehensive introduction to what cybersecurity in robotics entails and how to protect against attacks, presented by Gaurav Choudhary, Ph.D., Assistant Professor at Center for Industrial Software at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, and Mubashrah Saddiqa, Assistant Professor at the same place. Next, Christian Skov E., Consultant and Engineer in robotics technology at Teknologisk Institut (Danish Technological Institute), took us through four steps of risk assessment: preparation, conducting, communication, and maintenance. After lunch and networking, Gaurav delved deep into ‘Next-Generation Robotics: Cyber threats, attacks, and protection’. Saddiqa wrapped up the day by demonstrating a passwordcracking tool, which the participants enthusiastically tested on their own computers. 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞? Leveraging AI in marketing and empowering employees as social media ambassadors to elevate your brand – these were key topics at our recent Marketing & Comms Network meeting at Universal Robots. ✨ Yesterday afternoon, Universal Robots hosted the Odense Robotics Marketing & Communication Network at their new cobot hub in Odense. Here we kicked off the day with an enlightening intro to the new joint UR and Mobile Industrial Robots headquarters in Odense, presented by Global Brand Project Specialist Sofie Kongsdal - we even got to explore the UR and MIR showroom! 🌟 The insights kept flowing with Global Marketing Automation Specialist Lina Hallsson's presentation on marketing initiatives at UR and Global Graphic Design Specialist Louise Bjerg's inspiring session on how AI is redefining creativity and how we do marketing. 💡 After a networking break, we dove into an engaging talk on employee advocacy by Global SoMe & Creative Lead Morten Vium, who shared practical tips and learnings on turning employees into social media ambassadors – we can’t wait to put put our new tips into action! 🏃♂️🏃♀️ We ended the day with insightful group discussions. Reflections on an inspiring afternoon for the Odense Robotics Supply Chain Network at Trivision in Odense! 🌟  Today we gathered at TriVision A/S, who shared their journey and explained their supply chain processes – we even got an tour of their production and intro to their impressive robots. Torben Poulsen, Operations Director, Peter Hauge, Technical Director & Partner, and Jonas Haustad, Senior Project Manager, then provided us with deeper insights into Trivision's work with Vision Technologies, AI, and Product Intelligence, which was most enlightening. 🦾 Networking and a chance to hear an eye-opening presentation on Cyber Security concluded the day. Here we got to hear a company's firsthand experience of dealing with a cyberattack and the lessons learned from it. Wrapping up an incredible market visit to Singapore! 🇸🇬 ✈ Our Danish delegation had the chance to explore cutting-edge technologies in robotics and automation, with exclusive tours and insights from industry leaders. ✨   🔹 A visit to Mobile Industrial Robots and Universal Robots gave us a deep dive into industry transformation in Southeast Asia. Many thanks to Poi Toong Tang and Shih Pin Tan for sharing their expertise on the exciting future of robotics. 🔹 At DB Schenker, we were introduced to advanced intralogistics solutions by Goh Qian Ning, showcasing how automation is shaping high-cost environments like Singapore. 🔹 The Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) inspired us with their collaboration across public and private sectors to develop manufacturing solutions tailored for the Asian market. Special thanks to Dr. Andy Lee for the warm welcome. 🔹 The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) hosted a fantastic networking dinner, connecting us with key players from Singapore’s National Robotics Programme, EDB, and the Embassy of Denmark in Singapore as we explored the strategic drivers behind Singapore’s Smart Manufacturing 4.0 journey. 🔹 At HoST Pte Ltd ( A Sonepar Company ), Darren Hoh shared valuable insights into Singapore’s thriving robotics industry, growth opportunities, and the challenges ahead for Danish businesses. Yesterday, we had an insightful masterclass hosted by KPMG Denmark, where we dove deep into the evolving landscape of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and how AI and digital technologies are transforming sustainability strategies. Key Takeaways: 🌱 ESG as a Competitive Parameter: We discussed how ESG is no longer just about compliance; it's a critical component for value creation and risk management. Companies that embed ESG into their core strategy are better positioned for sustainable growth and resilience. 💡 AI and ESG: The session highlighted how AI can support ESG initiatives — from enhancing data collection and reporting accuracy to optimising processes like waste reduction and route planning. We explored how AI-driven insights are helping companies reduce emissions and improve their overall ESG performance. ⭐ The Role of CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive): We covered the upcoming CSRD regulations and what companies need to prepare for the new reporting standards. Key steps include conducting a double materiality assessment, gap analysis, and setting up robust reporting processes. 🦋 Digitainability: A new concept that merges digital transformation with sustainability efforts. We saw examples of how technologies like IoT, cloud services, and AI are being leveraged to drive sustainability goals forward. Denmark and Singapore sign international alliance to drive robotics development and adoption! 🌏🙌 Odense Robotics and Singapore’s National Robotics Programme have signed an agreement today to foster stronger collaboration and accelerate robotics adoption in both countries. 🦾 The agreement was signed today in Singapore, where Odense Robotics is currently visiting Singapore’s robotics ecosystem together with several Danish robotics companies in collaboration with the Danish Trade Council. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐬:  🚀 Workshops, seminars and exhibitions to mutually enhance robotics capabilities and promote Danish and Singapore robotics solutions.   🤝 Annual matchmaking and networking event between the two ecosystems.  🤖 Research and project applications. Building connections and fostering collaboration between Singaporean and Danish robotics industries to unlock future potential! 👀 Odense Robotics is currently in Singapore with some of our members. ✈🏙   This week, our CEO Søren Elmer Kristensen is in Singapore with Kim Rasmussen, Chairman at 4XROBOTS, Ievgen Romanov, CEO of LuftVejen, and Casper Hansen, CEO of Technicon A/S, exploring the country's vast robotics, automation and drone opportunities. ✨   Professors Mohan Rajesh and Shaohui Foong welcomed the Danish delegation early today at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and their drone test zone. Here the two presented the potential areas of collaboration between our two countries' robotics clusters.     Next up, the delegation visited the Embassy of Denmark in Singapore, where they were met by the Danish Ambassador to Singapore, Jakob Brix Tange, and the Deputy Head of Mission Rasmus Bjørnø, who provided exciting insights into what Singapore can offer as a international collaborator for the Danish robotics industry. 🌏 The day concluded with a networking event, which we co-hosted with the Embassy - and great way for the Danish delegation to connect with members of Singapore’s leading association for automation, IoT, and robotics professionals — AutomationSG.
