Our recent breakthrough at Pentabase would not have been possible without the incredible collaboration of our partners and the dedication of our research team. Together, we’ve made significant strides in understanding and combating breast cancer. 🔬 Our study focused on identifying genomic alterations that lead to resistance in breast cancer treatment. By analyzing circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), we’ve developed a method to detect disease progression much earlier than traditional imaging techniques. This collaborative effort has opened new doors in the fight against breast cancer, giving patients more hope for timely and effective interventions. We are proud of what we’ve achieved together and are excited to continue our work to make a real difference in patients’ lives. Thank you to everyone involved in this journey. Treatment for Better Outcomes 🌟 At Pentabase, we believe in the power of personalized medicine. In a recent study published in International Journal of Cancer* researchers at the University of Southern Denmark and Lund University use our SensiScreen® and custom MRD Liquid qPCR assays to show that by tracking specific genomic alterations in blood samples from breast cancer patients, it can potentially lead to more tailored and effective treatments. 🔬 The study finds that by measuring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in advanced breast cancer patients, it is possible to detect mutations associated with treatment resistance long before conventional imaging would. This means patients can receive personalized care plans based on real-time data, potentially avoiding ineffective treatments and improving their quality of life.
