Software that makes it easy to be a structural engineer.
Om os
PolyStruc develops user-friendly software to help structural engineers solve problems. We are striving to create a series of software with high precision and easy to use interface, as well as one click pdf documentation for validation. These features are highly appreciated in countless industries all over the world by our +1000 users. We are a small business founded in January 2018 consisting of two full-time structural engineers. We are focused on providing the best support for all our users and we enjoy cooperating with our clients to improve and develop our software. PolyStruc’s software packages currently includes two applications, PolyBeam and PolyStringer. PolyBeam is an effective beamcalculator to design timber, steel and concrete beams. This software has a broad application and is used widely by our clients within design of buildings, Marine Wessels, Cranes, Trucks etc. PolyStringer is a stringer model software which is primarily used to design precast concrete walls and diaphragms. It grants the user an effective method to determine the necessary stringer and shear reinforcement in multistory concrete buildings.

🎉 Automation of Load Combinations in PolyColumn! 🎉 We are proud of what Nicolai and Emil have achieved with the automation of load combinations—it’s turned out really good... if we do say so ourselves! 🙌 After seeing how successful this feature was in PolyBeam, we knew it had to come to PolyColumn as well. 💡 Give it a try and let us know what you think! 😊 #PolyColumn #StructuralEngineering #Automation #LoadCombinations

🛠️ Custom Section 🛠️ Standard shapes don’t fit every beam! 🔧 That’s why we’ve introduced the "Custom Section" feature in PolyBeam. It allows you to design beams with unique cross-sections and load capacities. With Custom Section, you can handle composite beams or steel beams with complex geometries, among other possibilities. 💡 What other features would you like to see in PolyBeam? Share your ideas below – we’d love to hear your feedback! #PolyStruc #PolyBeam

🤔 Buckling length?🤔 In this example, we moved the load to the middle, which shifts the buckling length from 1 meter to 0.73 meters. ✨ Luckily, you can easily account for such adjustments with PolyColumn – simple, fast, and precise. 👉 Try it out in PolyColumn today! #Engineering #Construction #PolyColumn #StructuralDesign

Our very first customer – Hansen Consulting Engineers 🏗️ Some customers hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️ For PolyStruc, HANSEN - Ingeniører + Arkitekter is one of those customers. Let’s rewind a bit. After Rune and Nicolai finished their studies, they started building PolyBeam. Hours turned into days. Eventually, the software was ready for its first users, and one of them was Dennis Hansen After a while, we worked up the courage to call Dennis and ask for his feedback. His response? Pure enthusiasm! Dennis had been using PolyBeam for designing steel girders and recognized its potential. So, we went for it – we asked if he wanted to buy a license. His answer? A big, confident YES! Since then, Dennis and PolyStruc have grown together. Today, HANSEN - Ingeniører + Arkitekter is a thriving firm. They are a team of 9 professionals, offering both engineering and architectural services. Thank you, Dennis, for believing in us, when no one else did (not even ourselves), and for being part of our journey from day one. 🙌 #PolyStruc #FirstCustomer #StructuralEngineering #PolyBeam #EngineeringSoftware #Innovation #ThankYou #Milestones #7YearsStrong

👀 Different cross-sections 👀 Working with continuous beams that need different cross-sections to handle different loads? With PolyBeam, you can select different beams, to create a more efficient and optimized structure. 🎯 Combine different beams and match them to your varying loads. Save materials, design smarter, and document better!

Why not use roller supports? 🤔🏗️ A common question we hear: “Can I use roller supports in PolyBeam?” 👉 The answer is simple: PolyBeam does not account for take normal force. Thereby making a roller support and a simple support equivalent. Why? To minimize the choices a user must make. What if your beam has a normal force? Don’t worry - We’ve got you covered! 👉 Use PolyColumn! 💡 PolyColumn allows you to work with both normal forces and biaxial bending. #PolyBeam #PolyColumn #EngineeringSoftware #ConstructionInnovation #StructuralEngineering
