We have developed an electrical upgrade kit for Robco rope making machines, which are in good mechanical condition but needs newer software and new electrical components. When should you upgrade your rope making machine? • If your machine has broken electronics, which can no longer be purchased. • If phasing out your old electrical components has led to higher spare part prices. • If you want to benefit from the newest software and modern hardware. So far, we have performed electrical upgrades for customers with Robco (Roblon) rope making machines manufactured as far back as 2003. Robco Engineering A/S is a new company with more than 40 years of experience. How is that possible, you may ask yourself? For more than four decades, we were known as Roblon Engineering, a division of Roblon A/S, but since March 2018, we have been an independent Danish company. Robco Engineering – our history Since 1978 the former Roblon Engineering has developed an extensive product program consisting of equipment and accessories for the production of twine, rope and cordage. In 2018 these activities were divested from Roblon A/S and Robco Engineering A/S. Nothing has changed in our daily co-operation with our customers, suppliers and business partners, though. Our well-known teams of experienced and service-minded employees are still the basis for a successful and impeccable cooperation, and even the machines are still the world-famous “Roblon blue” and carry the Roblon name. The setting may be new, but our well-known machines, proven technology and spare parts, acknowledged world-wide, are still the same. Robco Engineering – the way we work All production and support functions, whether it is a small winder or the largest rope making machine in our program are placed in one location; our facilities in Saeby in most northern part of Denmark. This makes the whole process from the drawing board to the loading on the truck efficient and simple. Ideas, test data and feedback from the production are easily acquired in a flat organization. Prefabricated components from subcontractors are painted, assembled and tested in our factory. We carry out thorough quality- and safety tests to ensure an optimal function of every, single machine before it is made ready for shipment. We ship machines wrapped on pallets or in a wooden box, and machines to oversea markets are sent in containers. To ensure our customers achieve the desired results before purchasing one of our machines, they can send us samples of their raw material, which we will run on our rope making machines and twisters. This process allows us to verify how their specific product performs on our equipment, ensuring it meets their requirements.
