Today is #GlobalRecyclingDay ♻️ Seven years ago, we initiated the cross-sector partnership REWOOD with Golder and Solum A/S and participated in the Circular Construction Challenge, an initiative by Realdania and DDC – Danish Design Center to spark fresh ideas for reducing waste. Today, the pilot project has turned into a recycling concept and has been launched in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. REWOOD collects temporary or unused wood from construction sites and offers it as a circular alternative to new wood. In this way, we help increase the use of recycled materials in the construction industry as well as utilise the forest's resources in a more sustainable way 🌱 Let’s together build a zero-waste future. #buildingthefuture #sustainbility #ESG

Yesterday, we cut the first sod to our new and expansive distribution centre for light building materials in Denmark. The new warehouse spans 24,000 square meters and will ensure day-to-day delivery of 50,000 SKUs to construction sites and branches across Denmark. This investment marks a step forward in our vision to enhance our already leading distribution of building materials. The new distribution centre for a wide range of tools, bolts, workwear, and other light building materials strengthens our logistical capabilities, allowing us to improve the range and availability of products and ensure a more efficient and flexible workday for tradespeople.
