While everyone's talking about AI chatbots, we're using artificial intelligence for something far more important 👇 … giving healthcare workers more time with their patients. Our TALT project was recently featured on the Danish radio station DR P4 København, showcasing an innovative collaboration between Systematic and three major Danish municipalities: Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Aalborg. Together, we’re exploring how AI can reduce the documentation burden on healthcare workers and enhance the safety of care for citizens. And TALT is just the beginning. We're working to implement AI across our entire healthcare portfolio, integrating intelligent features into: 🔹CIS - our electronic medical records for hospitals 🔹Cura - our electronic care and social record for municipalities 🔹Axon - our cross-sector collaboration solution The goal? A more connected and efficient healthcare system that benefits both healthcare professionals and their patients. Artificial intelligence is a potential game changer in nearly every industry, but in defence, it could mean the difference between winning and losing, life and death. So, how are we deploying it, and what obstacles and options are we facing? This Tuesday, we explored these questions in an internal talk on defence AI. The Aarhus canteen was packed with curious colleagues and even more tuned in online—a turnout highlighting just how critical and relevant this topic is. “AI in a defence context is particularly complex – you can build a textbook-perfect AI model, but it still needs to work under suboptimal and continuously changing conditions, all the while the enemy is constantly trying to obstruct your progress by, e.g. damaging the drones and sensors delivering data to the AI or alter their camouflage pattern to evade detection,” explained Senior AI Architect Søren Løfquist Stiil. According to Søren, what’s interesting is not just the AI model but the concrete difference it can make for the soldiers. To bring this to life, we saw a demo of our defence software, SitaWare, showcasing how AI can monitor changes in an area or detect suspicious activity - like a ship behaving oddly. A fascinating glimpse into how AI can help people make faster, more informed decisions in a military context! A huge thank you to our speakers - Lead Business Intelligence Architect Henrik Ring Lead Technical Product Manager Robert Krogshave, Test Manager Sune Gaardlykke Jensen, and Senior AI Architect Søren Løfquist Stiil - for sharing your insights and making this an inspiring and thought-provoking session.

Imagine waking up to no internet, no electricity, no water. Then what? Well… you—and all of society—would be in serious trouble. In these times of uncertainty, critical infrastructure and national security matter more than ever. That’s why we’re ramping up our efforts in this area —led by our newly appointed Group Senior Vice President, Anders Goul Nielsen. “Given the current situation, it is vital to stay on top of security and protect our critical infrastructure, such as power, water, and the internet. Systematic is in a unique position to make a positive contribution to this: we are experts in making systems interact and share data, and we understand how essential it is for technology to work flawlessly—because on the battlefield or in the operating room, it can be a matter of life or death. We are now applying this experience to the field of contingency planning,” explains Anders Goul Nielsen. Although the role is new, Anders Goul Nielsen is a familiar face within Systematic, having spent 26 years with us in various roles. He’s returning from a position as Senior Vice President at Kamstrup, where he led their Digitalisation and IT department. Now, in addition to national security and critical infrastructure, he will also oversee our activities in the production, utilities, and library sectors. We’re excited to have you back, Anders—let’s get to work 🙌 Read more about Anders here: https://hubs.ly/Q037k6S50

We’ve had the pleasure of our first onboarding session for the new year! 2025 kicked off with our first onboarding session/run for the year. For three days, all 35 of our new colleagues were invested in hearing about the different teams and departments in-house and learning about one another. They got to try out new team exercises and develop their collaboration skills even further! They experienced how it is to be a part of our team and managed the challenges that we meet daily as we try to further fine-tune our work here at Systematic. Throughout the three days, the onboarding encouraged our new colleagues to try different and maybe new types of teambuilding and management exercises. Setting the tone for inspiration and peering at each other's ideas while getting hands-on experience with what we do here at Systematic. Welcome to these new additions to Systematic!

Who wants redundant paperwork and back-and-forth phone calls, when tech could make work so much smarter and more cohesive? Well... no one. That’s why we’re using all our brainpower to create solutions that make data-sharing and collaboration seamless, helping people make better decisions faster. Whether it’s connecting surveillance drones, field soldiers, and headquarters; integrating diverse systems in an offshore wind park; or bridging the gap between hospitals and municipal care. Most recently, we’ve been recognised for the latter: our Axon project with Region Midtjylland, the Central Denmark Region, has been nominated for Sammenhængsprisen (The Danish Cohesion Award) 2025! Previously, when patients were discharged from hospitals to municipal care, care providers lacked access to critical hospital records, forcing patients to remember key details themselves and staff to waste valuable time chasing information through phone calls. With Axon, that’s no longer necessary. Municipal care providers now have direct access to hospital records, enabling faster, more informed decisions—while patients can trust that their entire healthcare team is always up to date. What a win for coherent healthcare! Video: Health Innovation Aarhus

Scaling Java Knowledge at Jfokus 💡 Last week, our colleague Mihaela Gheorghe-Roman took the stage at Jfokus, one of the premier Java conferences in Stockholm, delivering a knowledge-packed session to an audience of just over 800 IT enthusiasts. 🎤 With her highly appreciated “Unlocking Java’s Code Maze” presentation, Mihaela offered insights that sparked lively discussions among attendees. Through an interactive Java coding challenges quiz, she engaged developers in real-time problem-solving, breaking down each answer from a technical perspective and exploring its broader implications. We congratulate Mihaela for her dynamic presence on such a big stage and for her contribution to the global Java community! 🌍 Watch the presentation here: https://hubs.ly/Q0366nRG0 Were you at Jfokus? If your car engine is making a weird noise, you don’t just ignore it until the car breaks down. You check it out and get it fixed right away! The same goes for work environment. We take the pulse of our employees’ engagement, well-being, and job satisfaction each month - not yearly or quarterly, but every month - for all employees. This might seem excessive, but it lets us spot potential issues early and respond proactively. We monitor the results, take them to heart, and react appropriately. The average satisfaction score is 82 out of 100 🙌 – but we never stop developing and we will continue to work on improvements. Want to learn more about how we work with monthly surveys to improve employee well-being? Read on here 👇👇 https://hubs.ly/Q034R6KP0
