Sometimes you need to change to preserve🙃 In this article, you can read (in Danish) about how we succeed with growing a flat organization with co-Leadership. Our HR Manager has been interviewed about how we are working to maintain a flat, nerdy structure in a rapidly expanding organization without adding more layers of management and hierarchy. Our approach is radical. Gone is the ‘pyramid’ as new organizational ‘circles’ aim to preserve the small organization’s agility and rebellious ability to break boundaries and think creatively.

It’s October, but we’re welcoming Sommer! 🙃 Steen Sommer is the name of our new IT Manager – and we’ve missed him for so long that it feels like winter, now that we can finally welcome him 😉. Steen will be supporting our IT across the various locations in Europe under MGS Mfg. Group and making it operational. Together, Technolution and MGS offer comprehensive project solutions – from ideation to manufacturing. This requires seamless integration across all our locations, and with Steen onboard, we are confident we’ll be even more equipped to deliver end-to-end projects that meet the highest standards. ✨This must be a new record✨ As we welcome two new colleagues today, and one of them came all the way from New Zealand. Wow. James Ellery is his name. And he stands next to Gaia Dellarole, who is our new Design Control Specialist. Gaia finished her master’s degree in biomedical engineering from DTU in February 2024. She completed her master’s thesis in collaboration with Novo Nordisk, where she developed an applicator for a transdermal microneedle patch, focusing on user-friendliness and effective drug delivery. During and after completing her degree, she worked as an R&D Engineer at Exo360, gaining valuable experience in product development and regulatory compliance. James is a Product Engineer with 4+ years of experience in the medical device industry. And, as mentioned, he has traveled all the way from Auckland, New Zealand, to Hørsholm, just north of Copenhagen, where he will focus on the early stages of product development. Innovative Wednesday Morning in Boston 🚀🧬⚙️ This week, we had the pleasure of attending an event in Boston with the Minister for Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs, Morten Bødskov, and the Chair of the Danish Medical Association, Camilla Noelle Rathcke. They both talked about how Denmark plans to draw inspiration from Boston’s #KendallSquare by transforming the area around the University of Copenhagen’s Nørre Campus, Rigshospitalet, De Gamles By, and the Haraldsgade district into a world-leading innovation district in life science and quantum technology. Kendall Square is popularly referred to as “the most innovative square mile on the planet” due to its extremely high concentration of startups, researchers, capital, and innovation. And it’s hardly a coincidence that Technolution is in the process of establishing itself there, along with MGS Mfg. Group, to engage with customers right where the vibrant buzz of innovation happens.
