Day 2 & 3 of Thirdrooms roadtrip in 🇳🇴 Tobias Sami Augustenborg & André Anker checking in again, after 2 more amazing days. We went to visit André's hometown - Horten - which is the home of Electronic Coast Norway - an industrial cluster - founded on the basis of open collaboration between the local companies in Horten. There is truly a rich history behind the local ecosystem there💡 We also went to visit the offices of Nordic Innovation to talk about about The Nordic Valley vision, and the importance of creating digital infrastructures, to support innovation and collaboration between the Nordic countries Last but not least - André got to show Tobias the bombshelter where his startup Spiring.no is located. Spiring grows organic and sustainable micro greens for local restaurants and cantinas, while also employing and helping recovering addicts 🌱 It has been 3 truly inspiring days - and we are certainly doing another trip together soon again.

That is why we built THIRDROOM as a digital infrastructure to serve collaborators, uniting and creating together. We have a vision that includes you. We call it NORDIC VALLEY. In 2024, we will carefully reach out to complementary Nordic partners, which could include an innovation hub, accelerator, research team, law firm, and decision-makers. Our goal is to onboard 12 partners to collaborate on the biggest challenges we all face, challenges that cannot be solved by one partner alone. We have a specially strong focus on the challenge of our generation: the climate crisis. By now, we all know that we must act fast and across politics, science, technology, companies, organizations, and the public sphere. Startups play a significant role in turning possibilities into solutions faster than established entities. That's why we celebrate people who dare to lead, challenge the status quo, and commit to the mission of creating a better world for generations to come. Day 1 of Thirdroom's roadtrip in Norway 1️⃣ Tobias Sami Augustenborg & André Anker checking in. We started yesterday off by visiting Startuplab in Oslo, to learn more about how they help their startups accelerate their solutions through both investments, incubation programmes, a strong community and partnerships with larger companies. You could truly feel the creativity and innovative spirit in the air🚀 After that we went knocking on some doors and visited TheFactory - Accelerator & VC and Mesh Community - unannounced - but still got the opportunity to talk to them about our Nordic valley vision, and our mission to connect the ecosystem across sectors and borders🙏 Through all our conversations we sense that there is a strong motivation for collaboration across, and a need to intelligently connect our strong Nordic ecosystems.
