Had a great talk recently around a large successful transformation and have reflected on why it was a success. Here are some key takeaways: 1. Establish a clear and simple/understandable strategy 2. Ensure C-level support and buy-in (in our case, the CFO) 3. Communicate the Strategy (and change) to stakeholders and get them involved 4. Focus on execution and get people onboard who have knowledge in the area if possible 5. Make tough decisions and remain consistent, even when it's challenging 6. Recognize and promote champions within the organization, train them, and support them 7. Manage the change, communicate, and demonstrate the benefits. Could something have been better? Yes off course, we underestimated the change and communication part even for people who were very close to the transformation and even part of it. This was improved along the way, We learned that addressing these issues from the start is crucial. #transformation #strategy #leadership #communication #changemanagement
