World Health Organization has launched the 2025 Emergency Appeal for #Ukraine seeking $110 million to provide life-saving health care, sustain essential services and support Ukraine’s health system recovery. Nearly 3 years since the full-scale war began in Ukraine, the humanitarian crisis has reached a scale of undeniable severity, with 12,7 million people in urgent need of humanitarian aid. Among them, 9,2 million require medical assistance and 3 million face critical health needs - these are people who simply cannot afford to wait. Our plan includes emergency care, public health surveillance and digital health innovations like telemedicine to overcome staff shortages and infrastructure damage. The stakes couldn’t be higher. Ukraine’s health system is under siege, and millions are struggling to access care. WHO is working to save lives, but we cannot do it alone.
