We start 2025 with great news!      We inaugurated our new Edwards Lifesciences Business Service Center in Cartago, Costa Rica. This center provides centralized administrative services to our operations in the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Costa Rica. With the opening of this operation, we diversify our presence in the country, where we already have two manufacturing plants that employ over 2,500 people. We continue to grow to deliver innovations that change the lives of our patients. #EdwardsInCostaRica #Innovation

Dianne is an active volunteer in her community, working with her church, the local historical society, and an organization that trains and places free service dogs with people living with disabilities. After having a heart attack and learning of a heart valve defect, she received a valve replacement. In retirement, she committed to giving back full-time. ❤️ We’re so grateful to Dianne for joining us at The #PatientExperience earlier this year and sharing her story. We’re saddened to share the news of the passing of our legacy partner, Dr. Albert Starr.    Dr. Starr co-developed the Starr-Edwards valve – launching the world into the modern era of heart valve disease treatment. His work laid the foundation for advancements in both mechanical and tissue heart valves and, for the first time, offered hope to people suffering from heart valve disorders.    On behalf of the millions of patients whose lives he touched, we extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Starr for his contributions to science and healthcare.

Bill has always had a passion for adventure, spending his time flying airplanes, skiing, scuba diving, and cycling. This adventurous lifestyle was put to the test when he was diagnosed with #AorticStenosis after experiencing shortness of breath and a rapid heart rate on a hike.    Bill and his physician agreed that the INSPIRIS RESILIA aortic valve was the best option for him.
