Marítima Dominicana is a ship agency offering a full range of services to the maritime industry, both to ship owners and cargo interests. We handle port agency and ship husbandry matters for all kinds of vessels, regular liner. We also offer all kinds of efficient cargo handling, loading and discharging, achieving rapid turn around of the ships under our care in all Dominican ports. Furthermore, we also offer all kinds of cargo storage and handling facilities at locations at or near the main ports. We are the Dominican member of the worldwide Multiport Ship Agencies Network and a member of the Baltic & International Maritime Council (BIMCO). We have been accredited under ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, for our ship agency, cargo handling and warehousing activities. We have also been certified by the Dominican Chapter of Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC), based on the international standards of the worldwide BASC organization. We have been certified by the Dominican Customs as Authorized Economic Operator of the Dominican Republic (OEA_RD), based on the international standards and security requirements of Authorized Economic Operator, establish by the World Customs Organization within the Safe Framework.

On Saturday, October 28, we had our reforestation activity in Hato Damas, San Cristobal, thanks to the collaboration of Fondo Agua Santo Domingo and the valuable participation of our volunteers. By planting cacao, we contribute to the agroforestry restoration in the area of the Rio Haina basin, thereby strengthening conservation efforts. This initiative is further evidence of our continued commitment to impact the environment positively. --- Nuestra Jornada de Reforestación 2023 se llevó a cabo con gran éxito el pasado sábado 28 de octubre en Hato Damas, San Cristóbal, gracias a la colaboración con el Fondo Agua Santo Domingo y la valiosa participación de nuestros voluntarios. A través de la siembra de cacao, hemos contribuido de manera significativa a la restauración agroforestal en la zona productora de agua en la cuenca del río Haina, fortaleciendo así las acciones de conservación y restauración. Esta iniciativa es una evidencia más de nuestro compromiso constante de generar un impacto positivo en el medio ambiente. #MARDOM #RSE

In September, our volunteers collaborated with over 20 companies to remove 10,400 pounds of waste from Manresa Beach in Río Haina.
