Last week, we kicked off the new season of Recruitment Thursday together with LHV! 🥳 ✨ Here’s what happened: 💛 Elo and Mari-Liis from LHV shared how they use job shadowing to help candidates understand client-facing roles. 💛 Carina highlighted targeted employer branding strategies, like engaging in niche online communities. 💛 Alvin, the Talent Acquisition Partner at LHV, discussed introducing LHV to the UK market, using their Estonian roots and a “No BS” approach to stand out. 💛 Evert emphasized the importance of communicating compensation and benefits clearly and shared the latest salary insights related to talent acquisition. We also enjoyed some heartwarming networking moments and had a tiny reunion of current and past TestLions reminding us of the place where we, the founders of Cohorts, first met. A big thank you to Recruitment Thursday organizers, LHV, our presenters, and all attendees who made it worthwhile! Here’s to co-creating thriving teams!

The summer is technically over and since it was a first one for Cohorts, we thought we’d do a little recap for you of the highlights: ☀️ In June: - Renita came back to Estonia - Carina went to Edinburgh to see Taylor Swift - Evert started updating salary systems at LHV - We did an open air workshop for Kliimaministeerium / Ministry of Climate of Estonia - Kerli facilitated a workshop at CaseHub on “Understanding cultural differences in teamwork” and went to see lemurs in Cyprus 🌸 In July: - Evert & Carina did focus group sessions with experts from Finantsinspektsioon / Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority - Kerli was selected as the top contributor by People Over Perks Slack community - The Co-hearts met up for a hike and a strategic planning session in Türi (where Kerli rode an electric scooter for the very first time!) 🌴 In August: - Evert did a road trip through Czech Republic, and the mountains of Austria & Italy - We started preparing for the Recruitment Thursday season kick-off event with LHV - Carina dove into the depths of LinkedIn and leveled up on her Personal Branding skills - Kerli was invited to become a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council - and she did!  It was a perfect balance between work and fun! 🚀 Exciting news! We’re kicking off the new season of Recruitment Thursday with an incredible session with LHV and Cohorts! 🎉 Our session will focus on employer branding. LHV’s brand needs no introduction in Estonia as they have won many awards as the most desirable employer. We’ll hear how they leverage this to find the best talent in the market. But that brand is well-known in Estonia - we’ll also learn how they managed to expand into the UK being unknown there. The experts from Cohorts will take the stage to share how to build an employer brand in your niche, in new markets, and how to discuss rewards as part of your employer value proposition. 💡 📅 𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟎𝟗.𝟎𝟗.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 in Fienta! Looking forward to seeing you there! #employerbranding #networking #LHV #talentattraction #recruiters

The fourth founder of Cohorts that we haven’t actually officially introduced yet is Renita! Hey, everyone! 🎉 I'm thrilled to be a part of Cohorts as an advisor with over 20 years of experience in #GlobalRecruitment, #EmployerBranding, and #HR tech. 🌍💼 From leading a recruitment agency to steering talent acquisition in various startups and tech companies (and currently at HRS Group), I've seen it all in the dynamic world of HR. 🚀 But my journey doesn't stop there! I'm passionate about making a positive impact in the HR community. Co-founding initiatives like Recruitment Thursday and Eesti HR Selts / Estonian HR Society and serving as a jury member for "best employer" competitions, has been a rewarding way to celebrate outstanding workplace cultures around the globe. 🌟 Outside of work, you might find me capturing moments behind the lens as a hobby photographer or exploring new places as an avid traveler. I draw endless inspiration from different cultures and have a deep love for art and architecture. 📸 ✈️ 🎨

How can we help an organization move in harmony? By embracing shared values and principles. Yesterday, I had the joy of co-hosting a workshop on this topic at the Kliimaministeerium / Ministry of Climate of Estonia summer seminar, alongside my wonderful Cohorts colleagues, Carina and Evert. This project was an intriguing challenge – my first in the public sector, engaging 120 participants through a variety of activities, in a somewhat untypical setting. 😅 We bonded and built relationships, constructed towers, and engaged in friendly yet fierce competitions. We explored our personal values and found common ground with colleagues. We also unleashed our creativity by visualizing our collaborative efforts and creating videos together. 🎥 It was great to see that the Ministry of Climate truly has a great climate! (Yes, pun intended.) A huge thank you to Ingrid, Triin, and Helerin for your trust and collaboration. We had an amazing time with the Ministry of Climate team! And we’re excited to see where your values-focused journey takes you next. I’m also incredibly grateful to Carina and Evert. Our collaboration is built on strong values and trust, and it means the world to me. Much love! 💛 #Values #Leadership #Collaboration #TeamBuilding #Gratitude  —— If your organization needs support in developing values or fostering a values-based leadership culture, get in touch with us! I’m so disappointed in myself. It’s already like the FIFTH TIME when I do a client project and forget to take a picture 🙄 Pic or didn’t happen. Well, it did and went so well! Thank you Rademar and Diana Veerberk for creating the space for me to come and show your wonderful people what #LinkedIn is all about and the value they can create there for Rademar as an employer and also for themselves. Can’t wait to see y’all’s faces pop up more and more on my feed 🙌 You're doing an awesome job empowering your people, Rademar! 🚀✨ If you, dear reader and employer, would like to follow their footsteps, reach out to me and let’s get started! 🤗 #EmployerBranding #Empowerment

Minu jaoks oli just see osa üllatav, sest niimoodi tekib väheneva kasuga ehk nö "diminishing returns" olukord, kus iga järgnev aste tähendab protsentuaalselt väiksemat palgatõusu. ⚖
