🌟 Here are some highlights from my first secondment in Belgrade for the EdTech Talents Project, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with incredible minds and contribute to transformative educational initiatives. 🧠 During my two weeks in Belgrade, I engaged in several productive meetings, focusing on innovative approaches to enhancing computing education, teacher community-building, online education, and the integration of AI and VR technologies in education. 🤝 Some key moments from this enriching experience: Collaborating with the Fondacija Petlja: We brainstormed ways to enhance computational thinking skills and discussed successful teacher community-building initiatives from Türkiye and Austria. It was inspiring to see Milan Simic and Katarina Anđelković dedication to fostering educational innovation. We investigated incorporating innovative learning methods into Magister's online education system with its founder, Miodrag Zvijer. His dedication to enhancing online education is truly admirable. Exploring VR in Psychotherapy with Nebojša Ratković: We explored the potential of VR applications in psychotherapy and discussed funding opportunities and forming interdisciplinary teams. The possibilities for innovation in this field are immense! We also held a second meeting for Wikimedia Serbia. Hard work truly pays off! Partnering with Kampster: I am excited about our collaboration with Milos Jovanovic and Aleksandra Ikonov. We discussed usability testing, AI integration, and self-regulated learning strategies to enhance their platform. Their vision for transforming online education is groundbreaking, and I look forward to seeing their ideas come to life. 🫂 A special thank you to Dragana Malidžan Vinkić, Danijela Nela Scepanovic, Ugljesa Marjanovic, MBA and the EdTech Center Western Balkans for organizing these incredible opportunities and fostering meaningful connections. Innovation and sustainable development I Researcher and practitioner I PhD in economics

Happy to share my one month experience with EdTech Talents! I gained valuable insights into the Upper Austria EdTech and business ecosystem, where strong university-business ties are evident. Spin-off creation is actively supported by regional and public agencies, encouraging researchers to take business risks. Business Upper Austria - OÖ. Wirtschaftsagentur GmbH FFG Austrian Research Promotion Agency Spin-off Austria EdTech Austria tech2b Inkubator GmbH JKU - LIT Open Innovation Center The Green Tech Valley Sustainability in EdTech remains more of an exception than a core business strategy, which calls for further exploration. Green skills must be tailored for EdTechs, with greater awareness of their long-term benefits. While integrating sustainability into daily business operations can be challenging, doing so can unlock long-term national and international collaborations and new funding opportunities to support value-driven business growth. I discovered that technology, innovation, and sustainability can complement rather than contradict each other. For example, the MatheArena digital learning application supports children and parents in math education while fostering smarter use of resources and positively influencing social behaviour. Understanding the broader impact of EdTech solutions on users' behavior is key to shaping a sustainable future. A huge thanks to Eva-Maria Infanger and Gerald Infanger for hosting and opening the EdTech world, we’ll continue collaborating on research, business, and expanding the pilot case study to other EdTechs! I also had insightful discussions with Filiz Mumcu, Eva Ulbrich, Mart Laanpere, Aija Sakova, Madis Saluveer, educators from Austrian schools, and representatives from Upper Austria's business and research support agencies. A visit to a real-time class at gymnasium gave me a taste of Austrian school life. Of course, no experience is complete without exploring local food, culture, art, music, travel, skiing, and jogging or cycling along the Danube!

🌍 Innovation, Growth, and Collaboration: My Journey in Tallinn 🌍 I had the incredible opportunity to visit to Tallin as part of the EdTech Talent Project, where I met with visionary partners who are equally passionate about creating positive change for Generation Z. It was an eye-opening experience, filled with lessons, challenges, and transformative insights. Lessons Learned: The Power of Collaboration – Working with Tallinn University and EdTech Estonia has shown me that when we come together with a shared vision, innovation flows naturally. It's the collaborative spirit that enables us to move beyond traditional boundaries and create real, impactful solutions for Generation Z. The Value of Self-Awareness and Empowerment – Through my work, I've always believed in the power of self-awareness. Generation Z is driven, self-aware, and ready to embrace new ideas—if we empower them with the tools and opportunities to do so. We need to build an ecosystem where they thrive through conscious life planning, self-development, and resilience. Sustainability as a Core Focus – It’s clear that the future of Generation Z isn’t just about success—it’s about sustainability, which is based on inner development, social emotional skills and empathy. Without these soft-skills Sustainable Development Goals are unlikely achievable and we can start planting the seeds in Education. Challenges: 🚧 One of the key challenges we faced was navigating the different perspectives and priorities within global contexts. What works in one country may not work in another, so we must approach each opportunity with a deep understanding of local needs and dynamics. Benefits: ✨ We saw the immense potential for growth by fostering a network of like-minded change-makers. By offering Gen Z personalized support and innovative tools, we can guide them toward becoming the conscious, sustainable leaders of tomorrow. This journey reinforced my belief that innovation and purposeful collaboration are the keys to unlocking the true potential of Generation Z. Together, we can build a brighter, more sustainable future for them—and for all of us. Special thanks for Janika Leoste Madis Saluveer Liis Siiroja and the whole team Obuda University and Óbudai Egyetem Keleti Károly Gazdasági Kar for the full support and made it happen. And also thanks for the valuable and thought-provoking meetings with KideoCall Triumf Health MTÜ Eluks Valmis (Ready for life), TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology and the team, SELF and Cyborgs #EdTEch #EdTEchTalents #HorizonEurope #EU #Obuda #ObudaiEgyetem #collaboration #TallinnUniversity #Innovation #GenerationZ #Collaboration #Sustainability #Coaching #Empowerment #LifePlanning #SelfAwareness #Leadership #FutureFocused

🚀 Exciting News! Today marks the official launch of my first solution for EdTech companies—Usability Platform Test (https://lnkd.in/gNg7jmEh), developed through the Horizon Europe EdTech Talents Project! This journey started in September 2023, with my visits to MatheArena and collaboration with Filiz Mumcu, Gerald Infanger, and Eva-Maria Infanger, who helped shape the conceptual framework and introduced me to key EdTech ecosystems—European Edtech Alliance, EdTech Austria, Innovation Salzburg GmbH, tech2b Inkubator GmbH, and many others. A huge thank you to Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, and FH CAMPUS 02 for enabling me to test and refine this solution before bringing it to the market. Special thanks to my colleagues Dragana Slavić, Selver Softic, and Ioan Turcin for their support during the testing phases. Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible developers—Miroslav Stefanovic and Marko Štaka—who turned this vision into reality! I’m also grateful to Janika Leoste, the principal investigator of the project, for leading this initiative and involving me in DigiEduHack led by Antoaneta Angelova-Krasteva, giving me the opportunity to collaborate with passionate EdTech innovators. A special thanks to Ugljesa Marjanovic, MBA from Serbia, for his valuable advice during the development phase. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of Horizon Europe and the Provincial Secretariat for Higher Education and Research Activities. The Usability Platform Test will not only be used in collaboration with the EdTech companies, but it will also be implemented at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad in the Laboratory for Service Engineering and within the courses of the Engineering Management study program. Additionally, the tool will be available as an Open Educational Resource (OER) on the university’s learning management system SOVA. The first real-world test will be conducted with ALPA Kids 🦙, one of the top 50 EdTech solutions in the Nordic region! I hope this is just the beginning of an exciting journey towards better adoption of EdTech solutions worldwide! 🌍✨ #EdTechTalents #Innovation #HorizonEurope #UsabilityPlatformTest #DigitalEducation #DigiEduHack
