Hendrikson DGE

Hendrikson DGE has been involved in the international BalticSeaH2 EU-Project right from the start. The project's main aim is to create a large-scale, cross-border valley around the Baltic Sea. As general interest in hydrogen is growing in different sectors, it is essential to assess the feasibility of different solutions and to utilize already existing infrastructure whenever possible. While technological solutions are important, they alone won't solve the challenge, as smart market, policy and regulatory transformations will also play an important role in the emergence of clean hydrogen. In addition, it is essential to understand the concerns of the public and adapt technological solutions to the local needs, environmental concerns and social expectations. The project addresses the gap between technological solutions and regulatory and permitting environments by involving initiatives and partners from diverse backgrounds, areas and sectors.  As a part of the project Hendrikson DGE is currently conducting a pre-feasibility study for two potential areas for the production of Hydrogen in Estonia. The studies will be produced to assess locations in Sillamäe and Saaremaa. Hendrikson's deep understanding of the Estonian planning procedures, legal limitations, existing infrastructure and local conditions will be highly relevant to both studies and will give our project partners tools to assess the more concrete technical aspects related to the project. Through it's networks, Hendrikson DGE and sister company DGE Finland have also involved a masters' student from the University of Tampere in the project, highlighting the importance of a scientific approach and international cooperation. As her master's thesis work, Hồng Linh Nguyễn will be conducting an LCA for one of the potential sites in Estonia. In both Hendrikson DGE and DGE Group, we have always worked in close cooperation with universities and strived to support emerging talents in the areas of sustainability, energy transformation and environmental protection. Despite the geopolitical tensions of the last few years, the European Mergers & Acquisitions market has stayed relatively stable, demonstrating its resilience. Through 2023 and 2024 the deal values of certain sectors - such as manufacturing, transportation and renewables - have all increased.  𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗚𝗘 has decades of permitting and planning experience with several industrial and manufacturing companies in Estonia. Juba kaks nädalat on sellest, kui Paldiski Ettevõtjate Liidu eestvedamisel arutleti konverentsil “𝗧𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗶: 𝗞𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗸𝘂 𝗲𝗹𝘂𝗸𝗲𝘀𝗸𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗱” väikelinnade elu- ja ärikeskkonna teemadel. Põnevad sissevaated energiasäästu, tööstusinvesteeringute lähitulevikku ja kogukondade rolli valdkondadesse täitsid augusti lõpus terve päeva. Konverentsil andis oma panuse ka meie 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗚𝗘 üldplaneeringute osakonna juhataja 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗹𝘂. Pille avas uue üleriigilise planeeringu Eesti 2050 koostamise esimeses etapis välja joonistunud asustusstruktuuri muutusi. Maakonnaplaneeringutega näidatud keskustevõrgu analüüs näitas, et pea pooltes Eesti lähi- ja kohalikes keskustes on kadunud enamik teenuseid. Üleriigilise planeeringu käigus vajab otsustamist, millist asustuse mustrit Eesti ühiskond suudab üleval hoida, kas liigume suurlinnaregioonide poole või püüame säilitada ka väikekeskusi. Üldplaneeringu koostamine on 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗚𝗘 üks spetsialiteete! Nii käisimegi üldise planeerimise tiimiga külas Muhumaal, et vaadata, kuidas meie koostatud valla üldplaneeringut ellu viiakse. ✅ Muhu vallavanem Raido Liitmäe ja maa- ja planeeringuspetsialist Pille Tamm tõdesid, et üldplaneering töötab hästi. Saime kinnitust hüpoteesile, et sisukas planeering valmib vallavalitsuse ja konsultandi tihedas koostöös. Suur rõõm oli näha, et üldplaneeringus tehtud otsus kogu Muhu vald miljööväärtuslikuks alaks määrata oli igati õige. Muhu eripära on nii tugev, et ei vaja ülemäärast reguleerimist. Uuselanikud hoiavad siinset miljööd suure hoolega, kiviaedadega ääristatud looklevatest külatänavatest seelikutriipu uste-bussipeatusteni. Külastage imelist Muhumaad!

15.-16.mai toimus Riias Baltimaade suurim GIS konverents Baltic Esri User Conference 2024, kus osales 600 inimest, tervelt 200 organisatsiooni ja tehti 70 ettekannet üheskoos töötubadega. Konverents, kus sukelduti sügavalt geograafilise infosüsteemi (GIS) tehnoloogia uusimatesse edusammudesse ja parimatesse tavadesse Baltikumis. Ettekande tegi ka 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗚𝗘 meeskonda kuuluv geoinformaatik 𝗝𝗮𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗸, kellel on erinevates GIS-süsteemides pikaaegne kogemus ning kelle igapäeva töö hõlmab muuhulgas tehnoloogia integreerimist ruumilise planeerimise vajadustega. Seepärast on ta nii Hendrikson DGE meeskonnale kui ka GIS-i ja keskkonnaplaneerimise laiemale valdkonnale väga oluliseks lüliks. 🎤 Jaanus kõneles konverentsil eeskätt suundmustest, kuhu viimaste aastate tööd ja projektid on liikunud ning seejärel lähemalt sellest, kuidas me Hendriksonis oleme ideid ja lahendusi ellu viinud läbi rätseplahendusena valminud veebirakenduste, mille jaoks kasutatav kood valmib majasiseselt.
