4th-anniversary appreciation post! 💙 Parcelsea just turned 4 year years old and wow, what a journey it has been! A proper startup rollercoaster with several pivots, numerous fail-or-win-quick tests, several new product launches, and many amazing colleagues. 👏 Everything started from a garage in Viimsi, followed up by a rather quick nearly 1M€ investment from top investors in Estonia. Let’s take a look 👇 1️⃣Community Locker provides the most optimal cost per delivery for carriers & customers. Post offices are the cheapest, but inconvenient for customers and often require an extra commute. 72% of customers prefer courier service & home delivery as it requires no extra commute, but it’s often the most expensive delivery method. 2️⃣Community Lockers, parcel lockers, and post office all have a 100% first-time delivery success rate. Couriers' success is however below 75% as customers are often not home and the delivery has to be redone in the future. 3️⃣Only Community Lockers and some parcel lockers provide 24/7 availability, while couriers and post offices operate mostly during working hours. Some parcel lockers are inside shopping malls which means that they can be accessed only during the open hours of the shopping mall. 4️⃣Courier service is the closest to the customer, but has its downsides. Do it before the others! 💡 ⏰Friendly reminder that Christmas is just 133 days away!  ⏰This also means that broader christmas communication is just ~45 days away.  ⏰All I Want for Christmas by Mariah Carey is probably ~60days away if not less. If Christmas communication is making you anxious and you still order your packages to regular parcel lockers located in physical stores in Estonia then we are sorry. You might be just out of luck. 😔 Unless you are an user of our community lockers, that are located just ~300m from your doorstep. No decorations, no jingles, no Mariah. 🙏 We promise that we will not do any christmas related communication too early (excluding this post). 🎅 Happy 14th August! 

How easy is it for customers to use Community Lockers in Estonia? 🇪🇪 Short answer is - very easy! ✅ 1️⃣ Order your goods online and select Omniva as the delivery method. In Estonia Picapac_estonia network user data is automatically integrated with Omniva's database. Network users get their packages delivered to community lockers automatically! 2️⃣ Wait for the package delivery notification and get ready to pick up your package(s). Community lockers are located on average ~300m from network users. Pick it up in your slippers, after work or while on a walk with your friends.
