Reverse Resources
Business Consulting and Services
Building networks for textile waste to find best recycling opportunities and build circularity for fashion.
About us
Reverse Resources is a Software-as-a-Service (Saas) platform for major global fashion brands, their garment suppliers and recycling partners to cooperation on closing the loop for production leftovers. With making leftover information from garment factories visible online, we enable virtual traceability of fabrics through circular life-cycles from factory onwards. RR platform connects the full supply chain of textile waste from source to recycling, and all stakeholders involved in these supply chains. We enable mapping volumes of waste by composition, type and location, match it with the best possible recycling solution, build and manage efficient and transparent supply chains of delivering the waste at best cost and quality, and capture and analyse data throughout the transactions to build market insight and traceability of the material flows. We work across 10+ countries in Europe, Asia and North-Africa along and move 1000+ tonnes of textile waste each month. Through numerous large collaboration projects we interact with 30+ largest global fashion brands and all largest textile-to-textile recyclers who are producing high-end recycled textile materials already on industrial scale.

We are really excited about our collaboration with Textile Exchange, Fashion for Good, and Control Union in this project. Creating verification and transparency of the origins of textile waste used in recycling is a significant part of the work we've been doing at Reverse Resources, along with digitising and building optimised and feasible supply chains for textile waste management to scale up textile-to-textile recycling. We are grateful that our work, by being invited to this project, has been recognised as valuable input for strengthening the certification system for recycled textiles.
We are proud to announce our collaboration with Fashion for Good and Textile Exchange on the two-year initiative, the “Tracing Textile Waste Project”. Enhanced transparency and traceability of textile waste are crucial steps in the development of a more sustainable textile industry. Establishing an open-source data template, creating a glossary of terms, and developing a standardized framework for collecting and exchanging textile waste data are key objectives of this initiative, among others. Our Control Union experts provide essential support to this project, enabling a faster verification process of the reclaimed materials. To know more about how this initiative that aims to harness the potential of textile waste and to develop a circular system in the textile industry, make sure to check the press release below: https://lnkd.in/gF-pxnBk #controlunion #TracingTextileWaste #Traceability #FashionForGood #TextileExchange #CircularEconomy #Recycling #SupplyChainTransparency #Innovation #ESPR

Due to current and upcoming regulations in the EU, US and other countries on circularity, traceability, and sustainability measures related to textile waste, there is a growing focus on textile waste management. In collaboration with TEA, Reverse Resources, represented by Co-Founder and COO Marius Golden, conducted a seminar addressing these regulations and their impact on various stakeholders in the supply chain. Three key points that we highlighted: 1. The critical importance of digitising textile waste 2. Existing and emerging legislations affecting recycling and textile waste globally. 3. How the RR platform supports and improve reporting to various stakeholders such as fashion brands and HIGG Thank you all for attending and helping to make this event a success! More exciting news to share! We can’t emphasise enough that while our focus at RR is closing the loop in textile-to-textile recycling, this alone isn't sufficient - collaboration is essential. Therefore, we're thrilled to be part of a consortium of leading partners driving innovation in sustainable textile solutions. Together with VTT TECHNICAL RESEARCH CENTRE OF FINLAND we will be working on a four-year PESCO-UP project with the goal to develop new technologies to recycle polyester-cotton blended textile waste into high quality raw materials. Key processes of PESCO-UP project include: 1. Developing advanced sorting systems for efficient textile identification 2. Creating a marketplace for recycled materials and improving data sharing 3. Exploring pre-treatment and purification techniques to accommodate fibre-blends and mixed-streams of textile by increasing recycling capacities. 4. Introducing new mechanical and chemical separation processes for poly-cotton blends. 5. Maximising the utilisation of cellulose and polyester fractions But that's not all! PESCO-UP is also committed to building essential digital competencies in the workforce, identifying skills gaps, and implementing upskilling strategies. #reverseresources #circularity
