Did you know that 1 in 5 employees experiences a mental health issue each year? As we celebrate World Mental Health Day, we're reminded of the critical importance of offering support for workplace mental health. We recently partnered with Siffi to offer our HR team a course on Mental Health at the Workplace and Psychological First Aid, designed around the WHO framework and led by clinical psychologist Joanna Imad. The comprehensive training taught us how to provide support and foster a workplace environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable discussing mental health. It also helped us feel better equipped to support our team members through challenging times, ensuring they know they are valued, heard, and cared for. Remember, the success of every company is built on the well-being of its employees! 🌟 #worldmentalhealthday #mentalhealthmatters #employeewellbeing #gameloungelife #siffi

Today is World Mental Health Day. This year, the focus is specifically on the workplace and burnout, a topic we address a lot at Siffi. Burnout does not happen overnight. It comes as a response to prolonged exposition to stressors and triggers in the workplace. It is almost undectable at first as symptoms can lead to other diagnosis. In one of our two latest posts on burnout in the workplace, we spent some time identifying signs and causes. You can read the full piece via the link in the comments. #mentalhealth #mentalhealthday #october10th #worldmentalhealthday #mentalhealthintheworkplace #burnout #wellbeingatwork #HRsupport

With the 2024 Parisian Olympics this summer, we have all been exposed to the best of the best athletes in the world in fencing, swimming, running, kayaking, or climbing. What do all of these people have in common beyond a will and determination to become the best at what they do? They all have a coach. That coach is not better at their field than the athletes are. What they bring to the table is a way to reflect, bring perspective, and train a “winning” mindset that helps the athlete learn from each competition, grow, and improve. Read our full piece about the impact of coaching via the link in the comments. #coaching #mentalhealth #wellbeing #coach #support #resources #HR

The connection between Data and Mental health is not always apparent. On one side, we look at numbers; on the other, we look at people and their feelings. One could even argue that poor mental health is often due to an obsessive attention to numbers and a lack of interest in the impact this has on humans. There is, however, data that are our allies. Those are the ones we focus on, as monitoring our emotions helps us better understand our triggers and how to find a way to get better or ask for the right support. Over the last year, we have noticed that five of the +17,000 mental health issue keywords available in our database kept coming back. Can you guess the top 5 keywords searched in our mental health support app by Tech Company's staff? Find out more about this by reading our article, which is linked in the comment section. #mentalhealth #wellbeing #mentalhealthsupport #app #keywords #HR
